James began to slowly turn the wheels towards the door, half of himself in thought, half focused on getting out.
He waited for Liz to open the door before going out and waiting for her.

(It's fine.)

Liz opened the door and followed him out of the medbay. Even though she knew at least one doctor well enough to drive crazy, this place was not a favorite of hers. As she fell into step beside her love, she gently took his hand in an attempt to comfort him.

"So.. Liz, what was your favourite place back at home?" James asked, trying to end the uncomfortable silence.
(i'll try to be more active once guests go,)

”Back home?” she replied thoughtfully, though glad for something more light-hearted to talk about. ”Well, I actually spent a lot of time on the roof of my parent's house when I was a kid and just stargazed for hours. Course, the view from the windows on the ship had that beat.” she admitted as she turned to look at him. ”What about you? What was your favorite place?”

"My favourite place?" James chuckled.
"I used to enjoy the same thing, but, I would sneak my way into the forest, and stargaze in a nearby clearing, it was nice, to be one with nature." Slowly James became quiet as he remembered his childhood, something he held onto quite dearly.
James meanwhile also made his way down the hallway, out of the medbay area.
"So where to now? I don't exactly want to head back to the ward right at this minute." James shook his head and let a playful grin climb onto his face.

Liz smiled softly as James spoke before letting out a brief chuckle. ”We’re going to have to come up with new constellations to look for while we're here.” she commented thoughtfully. ”Or ask our new allies about theirs, if they have any.”
Upon hearing James’ question and mischievous smile, Liz smirked back. ”Well, we could talk to Captain Blake about us going on the newest mission when it's time… Or we could go to my room and…” she winked, leaving the idea open to interpretation.

"Uh…" James paused, raising a brow at her wink.
"How about we go to your room then. Just so we can have a little chat on embarrassing moments we had in our young lives." He said slowly, letting out a smile.
"Of course if you want something different you can just say it." He blinked innocently.

Liz giggled at his confused expression but nodded. ”Alright. My room it is.” she smiled back. ”I can't wait to hear some of the trouble you got into as a kid.” she smirked, deciding to leave her… implications alone for now.

"Oh.. don't get me started." He laughed.
"But love, we can do other things too if you really want to." James smirked back, holding her hand softly as he looked up at her.
"Shall we go now then?" He asked warmly.

”Well, now you got me curious.” Liz smiled and gently entwined their fingers as they started towards her room. ”James, all I really meant was we could lay next to each other and kiss like we’ve done before.” she assured him. She wasn't going to push him into something if they weren't ready for it yet. Besides he still needed to heal.

James rolled his eyes.
"And so did I," He grinned mischievously before looking forward, making sure to not accidentally crash into someone.
"We can do both, talk about things and lay beside each other."

Liz smiled, letting out a small giggle as they reached her room. ”Sounds like a plan to me, darling. It feels like it's been a while since we had some time to ourselves.” she almost smirked.

"Uh… Yes, true, it has been a couple hours." He nodded, glancing around as he breathed the recycled air, he wanted to get out, he really wanted to get outside.

”It feels a little longer than that.” she teased, bringing him towards her bed as she sat down. She gave him a reassuring smile, still holding his hand.
It was much more comfortable looking at James this way… Liz wasn't used to looking down at him.

"Oh really?" He smirked, looking into her eyes.
"Well, I'll make sure that we can be together like this, alone, for a longer time than before." He smiled, glancing at the clock before looking back at Liz.

Liz smiled back, raising a brow. ”Don’t tell me your magic affects time as well.” she teased, before kissing his cheek. ”In all seriousness… Thank you, sweetheart.” she said sincerely, glad that they could be together without any trouble going off around them.

"Hm.. We've got to test that," James chuckled, kissing her cheek.
"No problem Liz.. Thank you too, I really mean it." James said, hugging her tightly as he closed his eyes, just peacefully listening to the breathing of himself, and Hers.

”I love you, James.” she hummed, moving to sit in his lap. Liz wrapped her arms around him, returning the hug and rested against him, just enjoying the quiet peaceful moment.

(Sooo sorry! I was incredibly busy with guests as you know then I had to go to manchester, I'm still there, but I'll message as much as possible!)
"I love you too Liz," James smiled, letting her rest on him as he enjoyed this moment, it was nice.

Liz smiled lovingly back at him and rested her head against his shoulder, near his heart. Ever since the scare of him being actually dead in their last dream that it was now very reassuring to have more than one piece of proof that he was alive again.

James smiled softly, he didn't know what to say or do. The dream was a traumatic thing that he couldn't get out of his head. But still, he was glad that it occurred. It did bring the two closer after all, that and he had learnt a couple things about his powers. He wouldn't say what but when the time came, he would use them, only at the risk of his loved ones, and only that.
