Once they had both paid for their things, they started the walk back to their dorm.

Finn had woken up from his daily nap and yawned, parading around the dorm only wearing his binder and pants, he rarely cared if he was half-naked, he was cooking himself some rice, unaware that the other two had just went out to make dinner

Jackson opened the door quietly, thinking that Finn was still asleep, but instead saw him in the kitchen.

"Oh, um, I'm making enchiladas, do you want some?"

"what? oh nah, i don't like them" his newest comfort food was the house fried rice specifically from this one brand, and he ate it /religously/. breakfast? rice. lunch? rice. dinner? rice. late night snack? you guessed it, rice. he had literally not eaten anything else in two weeks

"You're gonna get sick from eating all that rice… Have you had any water today?" Jackson asked, putting the groceries on the counter.

"no- ohhhh that explains the headache and nosebleeds" he chuckled a little "i'll be fine dude, it's just rice"

"Still. At least a little variety would be good for you." They started putting away the groceries, but left out anything they needed for the enchiladas.

he shrugged and finished the rice, he was eating it as he asked them "so how'd today go? where's sam?"

"She's right behind me" They turned around to face the door. "Or at least I thought so… I'm gonna go find her, don't die."

he nodded "i won't"

Jackson left the dorm and looked down the hall in both directions, then started walking in the direction where they had come from.

he finished his rice and cleaned up

Jackson continued to look around the dorm building

Sam was sitting on the fire escape, looking out at the city, and hoping that there wouldn't be another crime today, because she just wanted to chill

Jackson eventually gave up and went back into the dorm to start making the enchiladas, since they would take a while

he decided to put a shirt on since he was getting chilly "no luck? i could try to find her"

"Nah, she'll be back when she wants to." They said, getting the pre-cooked chicken out of the fridge

"alright, wanna watch something then?"

"I'm making enchiladas, but I can watch from here."
