"Awesome. sounds like a plan" Rain said. She was always, always, offense, and that's how she liked it. The red team leaders liked her skill with her double bladed scythe, so they put her on the field. They did keep her off the front lines though, because her godly abilities were far to useful to be put out of commision. The horn blew and the group broke, jumping into the game. Rain grabbed both of her earrings, taking them off as they grew to full size, each a 3 foot long staff with a 4 foot scythe blade. She joined them together on the ends and ran off to capture the flag

In the minutes before the horn sounded through the camp, Acacia rigged three traps; two tripwire snares and a tripwire that caused a net to fall from above. She had to borrow the net from some other camper, not having enough supplies or time to make make one. As soon as the horn blew, she finished the very last knot on the second snare and drew her dagger. Acacia had found a lightweight sword in the weapons shed, but left it hanging in its scabbard; she wasn't much for swordplay. She had been recommended to not take point and to stay off the front lines, and that suited her just fine. She was more of a stealth-until-spotted girl, then move into quick-and-deadly mode.
The cheers and battle cries of her teammates echoed from their base point and the rest of their territory. Her nostrils flared, eyes wide. Her adrenals were up, making her fingers twitch around the grip of her dagger. If she was lucky, someone would drop another weapon like a bow or second dagger, and she could be even more efficient.
Hey, we cant maim anyone…or kill them.
Yeah. Lets go.
A dangerous grin parted her lips as she rushed on quiet footsteps toward the enemy's flank, hoping to come up form behind and snatch the flag before anyone noticed.
Time to kick some ass.

The enemy gaurding the flag was an aphrodite girl, who was more busy looking in the mirror at her hair to notice Acacia, or Rain for that matter. Rain sat quietly above her in a tree, and noticed Acacia coming up quickly. She summoned the help of her stepdad and had a ghostly whisper enter acacia's mind, saying "Grab the flag, run. Rain's covering your six". She waited patiently for her moment, because she knew the girl would shreik and alert others if she dropped now

A voice in her head, whispery and tickly. Grab the flag, run. Rain's got your six.
Acacia inhaled sharply, stopping her quiet run in its tracks. It took her three seconds to process, two more to make an action.
Crazy-ass Persephone powers. Fine, I'll trust you.
The silly Aphrodite girl was making faces in the mirror as she fussed with the stands of hair framing her heart-shaped face. She huffed in irritation as a tiny breath of wind pushed them out of place. Her back was to the flag, and to Acacia.
Her plan had worked; taking the rear flank area, she had only encountered one boy, who she trussed up good and tight in a tree after whacking him on the head. Now, she crept forward, not bothering to check for Rain to see if she was actually nearby keeping watch.
The flag was a ten-foot wooden pole, about an inch in diameter, with a three-foot square of blue canvas zip-tied to the top. It leaned against a large rock, providing cover Acacia could sneak behind.
She registered all of this in an instant, keeping her feet creeping toward the flag. She reached around the boulder, secured her grip around the pole, and–
Yoink!
She pulled it into her chest, getting a grip with her other hand. It had made plenty of noise, alerting the Aphrodite girl, so Acacia knew to hightail it out of enemy territory. Her legs blurred over the brush, through the reaching briars, over a stump, almost to the creek.
The Aphrodite girl had summoned help– four kids, two of which she was sure were Ares and one or two others Apollo were one her tail, the blond ones closing in fast.
Running with the flagpole was difficult, but oh she was fast. The Apollo kids were on her heels, but couldn't quite get close enough to tag or tackle her.
She had some teammates around her now, cheering her on. That manic grin came back, lighting up her face.
Almost to the creek, almost, almost…

Rain took the instant Acacia took the flag to dismount from the tree. She used the back of one side of her scythe, the unbladed side, to sweep the Aphrodite girl off her feet. She was immediately upset, but she stayed put, fussing with her hair and slightly ruffled clothes. A few red team kids began fighting off the Apollo Kids, and Rain barred an Ares boy off his feet with the flat of her scythe. She turned and floored the other Ares boy with the other side, making sure not to seriously cut either. They began trying to fight Rain, and she simply swung her scythe in blocking motions with practiced grace. Both Ares boy's were much bigger than her. She ended up knocking one out with a swift elbow to the head, and the other was on her tail. She ran fast, in the opposite way that Acacia had gone, using the rage of Ares against the boy. he was mad that she'd bested his friend and dared oppose him, and had forgotten Acacia and the flag completely. A fatal flaw of Ares children. One of the Apollo kids got caught in Acacia's trap, and a Hermes kid from red team skillfully fought off the other. The whole team had Acacia's back, giving her a clear path and a full opening to reach the creek
