Shuichi sighed as he looked up from the script that Kokichi handed him. He really wasn't sure why he would ever think of a plan that would require him to die. It was basically an assisted suicide, all to end the killing game, which didn't make much sense. The detective wasn't sure how he ever got roped into such a plan, but he ended up going along with it. That night, they would go through with the plan, and he would crush Kokichi with the hydraulic press, although he didn't understand how anyone could be so set on their death.

Even if he had said some rude things to him, he didn't expect him to go that far. He wondered if his comments had anything to do with this plan as well as the events of the previous trial. It would make sense if those influenced his idea to end the killing game through suicide, but he could never ask him about it. He would just go through with it, even if he did have a chance of being executed. He was the detective, so if he had to, he could twist the evidence and lie. He felt guilty about it already, but he had no choice.

"You're sure that this is a good idea?" he asked as he looked at Kokichi. "You have got to be out of your mind. You're really going to commit suicide just to end this game? Since I'm assisting, I know it'll be perceived as a murder, but still, you really think this is a good idea? I don't understand."

Shuichi sighed as he shook his head. He didn't understand the plan then, and he didn't think that he would ever understand it. Nothing about it made much sense to him. How could someone go so far just to end the killing game? Even if he understood that it needed to be ended and wanted to end it as well, that was not the way he intended on doing so.

"I don't think I'll ever see the point in this," he admitted. "Look, I'm going to go do other things until it's time to put this into action. I need to act normal if I don't want them to suspect me. I'll talk to you later, and then we can put this into action. I'd consider doing something about the arrow in your shoulder, but you're so set on dying that I don't know why you would."

After he spoke, he walked away. As concerned as he was for Kokichi, he was still annoyed with him, and that definitely showed. He acted as if he couldn't care less about him, annoyed by his plans and his behavior, but he did care to some extent. He had just been bothered by him, and he somewhat stood by his comment in the last class trial. It didn't matter to him whether the plan was successful or not by that point. He just wanted the situation with Kokichi to end in one way or another.

Kokichi was hurt, both physically and mentally. He hated himself for the way he treated others. So he went to the one person who's showed him kindness throughout the game.. Kaito. He sighed as he walked up beside the man " hey.."

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Kaito was a bit surprised when he heard Kokichi's voice, but the feeling turned into concern quickly when he saw that he was injured. The arrow that he had been shot with was still in his shoulder, but that was for the better since it prevented him from experiencing excess bleeding, which could kill him quickly. It concerned him to see him injured like that, though, and he felt compelled to help him.

"Okay, what the hell happened to you…?" he asked, his tone showing a mixture of concern and surprise. "Well, obviously someone shot you, but what happened? How long have you been hiding this? Just explain, okay? I'll take care of this issue, but please, just tell me what's going on."

Kaito could feel himself grow more concerned when Kokichi said that he wouldn't be around for much longer. He didn't know what he meant by that, what his cause of death would end up being, but he was concerned about the other either way. If it was going to be a suicide, he needed to find a way to talk him out of it. Even if he didn't always admit it or act like it, he truly did care about the other, and he didn't want him to die.

"I'm sorry…what do you mean by that…? You're not planning to kill yourself, are you?" he asked, his tone expressing his concern. "Kokichi, you're seriously out of your mind if you think that killing yourself is a good option! We'll discuss it more later. Come with me. I'll pull the arrow and bandage your wound so you don't bleed out. You'll be alright."

After he spoke, he began to walk away, hoping that Kokichi would follow him. He was still worried, but he was also determined to talk him out of whatever plan he had. No matter what it would take, if he could save the other's life, he would. If he could stop whatever plan he had made, he would definitely do so.

Kaito sighed softly as he shook his head. So Kokichi really did have some plan to end his life in an attempt to end the killing game. He really didn't understand why he would go so far, but he had to find a way to talk him out of it before he died. Even if it seemed like it would be impossible, he was going to find a way.

"That's not gonna do anything. Someone would figure this out," he sighed softly. "It's not worth dying for, anyway. That just gives the mastermind a reason to keep this up. If people try to end their lives to rescue the others, the despair will become stronger, and that's what they want. You can't let them have what they want!" he argued as he looked away. "And some people don't want you to die…" he mumbled.

Kaito sighed softly as he shook his head. He understood why Kokichi was convinced that everyone hated him, but that wasn't the case. He couldn't have much of a say in the other things, especially since he knew that Kokichi would just argue with him. Both of them could be stubborn, and he really didn't want to start a huge argument.

"Not everyone hates you!" he argued. "I don't hate you! Sure, I did when we first met, but I don't hate you now, so even if it feels like everyone else in this killing game hates you, I don't!"

He refrained from expressing that he didn't want Kokichi to die, but he did express that he didn't hate Kokichi. He wasn't ready to outright admit that he cared about the other enough that he wanted to prevent him from dying, but his actions and argument likely implied it. Either way, he was determined to help the other through this.
