Phoenix slightly blushes. No one really knows that, but she is socially awkward. She didnt really enjoy small talks.
She sits down slowly, while her eyes were locked on the snake.
Phoenix loves animals, even if they had to do with her past.
She puts her notebook on the table and slightly smiles.

"Shh… Don't worry, Ombra. She's a Hufflepuff, so I'm sure she's alright." Scipio hissed in Parseltongue to the snake, although it just sounded like indistinct whispering for the most part. He turned back to Hogwarts: A History and scanned the pages in silence.
"see he isnt talking to you, so you are good. no small talk…" She opens her notebook, and starts scribbling in it.
Phoenix hums a melody and adds 3 words. And then crosses them out.
Once she get annoyed or nervous, Phoenix starts fidgeting.
She started taping her feet.

What is she doing? Why is she tapping things? Scipio glanced at the girl, but didn't say anything. Ombra slithered off of his shoulders and coiled herself up on the table, occasionally flicking her tongue out at Phoenix's paper.
Phoenix got lost in her thoughts…
"No…. NO! They dont rhyme… Gah.."
She starts tapping her feet faster.
Suddenly her hand stops right next to the piece of paper.
Phoenix closes her eyes shut.
It looks like the pen is about to break, then she stops, opens her eyes, smiles and stops fidgeting.
Starts writing non-stop.
"She appears to be writing a song." Ombra hissed to Scipio, who gave a tiny nod and went back to his work. He worked for a long time, only realizing how late it was when he yawned and decided to check the large clock on the wall. Is it that late already?
" what is he looking at?" She looks at the boy, then looks at the clock. "I've been writing this all day, and all I have is a shitty paragraph"
Phoenix clicks the pen and lays back in her chair with her eyes closed.
She opens them, and for a slight second looks at the boy.
"Huh. He's a slytherin…"
Phoenix stands up while being dizzy.
"Thanks for the seat" She grins.
Joy sat outside, writing with a muggle pen in her notebook. She adjusted her position slightly, hooking her leg better around the branch.
"Oh! Um, it's no problem." Scipio smiled softly. "I don't think I ever caught your name?" You're doing it again… initiating conversation. You know you can't talk to people! You'll somehow let slip that you're a Parselmouth and then everyone will think you're evil or something!
"Yeah…" she phases out for a second. "Oh! Yea neither did I" "I'm Phoenix Darksky, nice to meet you"
Her black eyes have never looked so bright." Why is he talking to me? Didnt I make a bad impression already?"
She blushes.
"Scipio Massimo. Piacere di fare la tua conoscenza." He shook her hand politely and gathered his books, Phos and Ombra tailing him closely.
Kamryn was sitting in the halls watching other students
Phoenix smiles again. "Hope to see you soon!"
"What are you doing?"
She swiftly turns around and sprints to the hallway.
Scipio put his books in a black messenger bag and walked calmly through the halls. Ombra had wrapped herself around his shoulders again, making him look so painfully Slytherin. He made his way towards the dungeons to go to his common room. Once he reached it, he said the password and entered.
She looked up, seeing the darkened sky. "Oh-" She went to scurry down, running to the castle.

Phoenix walks around the hallways for a while, still trying to think of new word for her song. Nothing came to mind.
After a while she gave up, and slowly walked to her common room.
Most of the students were already back in here, or in their dorms.
( I guess. its morning then?)
She stopped at the pile of barrels by the kitchen, taking a moment to catch her breath before tapping out Helga Hufflepuff on the correct one to enter.

Phoenix is most active in the morning. She wakes up extra early and goes to sit beside the lake.
She still didn't know what to do with her song, so once walked next to the lake, she crumbled the page and threw it in the water.
She just sat there and watched the ink fade from the paper.

(Hey Sky our characters are the same age so maybe they could be in a class together and get put together as partners? I mean, Scip kinda… d-dislikes, Gryffindors, but he wouldn't say that aloud and he's open minded enough to work with one bc he wants to get his freaking work done lol)
(I'm a Slytherin myself and I had to work with a Gryffindor once. She and I are friends, but the experience was awful. She kinda gave up on the project but I was like NO I'M GOING TO FINISH IT WHETHER YOU HELP ME OR NOT. So I did)

Kamryn walked into class and sat down
Scipio sat down in his desk in the back of the classroom as usual. He sketched out a detailed Slytherin emblem on his paper. (He's pretty proud to be a Slytherin if you couldn't tell lol although he would agree that loads of people in his house are complete twats) The teacher was already at her desk. "Alright class. Today we will be working on transfiguration in partners. I will assign the partners with one Gryffindor and one Slytherin in each partnership. Behave yourselves. Alright, first pair is… Scipio Massimo and Kamryn Wisp!"
"oh shoot, im late!" Phoenix quickly stands up, and runs to the class.
She quickly runs into the class, but notices that teacher isn't here yet.
" Welp, im going to sit alone. Like always."
