Kokichi kissed softly at the others jawline, trying to bring him back from his own mind

It took a couple of minutes, but the kisses eventually brought Kaito back into reality. Even so, it seemed to do little when it came to actually calming him down all that much. Even while in reality, he remained worried about his lover's condition, continuing to wonder if he would die or other serious complications would arise. He had already gone deaf due to the condition, so it seemed likely that other complications could arise, too.

Kokichi gave an angered growl “ kaito momota!” he whisper yelled

Kaito only looked away from his lover when he yelled at him. As he looked away, however, it became clear that he felt bad for making Kokichi angry to begin with, as his expression was one of guilt at the time. It did, however, appear that he was willing to listen to the other as well.

“I'm. Fine. “ he repeated

Kaito sighed softly. It was still something that he had difficulty believing just because of the situation that they were in. Kokichi was still in the hospital, and he still had a chance of dying, and he had still gone deaf because of everything. The situation was as far from fine as it could get, so Kaito didn't respond at all. He just looked at Kokichi again.

Kokichi gave him a dirty look. He couldn't tell if kaito was talking to him or not and it upset him

Kaito didn't even respond to the look that Kokichi had given him. He honestly didn't know what he was supposed to do, anyway, since he still didn't even know how to properly respond to it all. He just remained completely silent, not even making an attempt to say anything.

Kokichi sighed and rolled over, his back facing kaito

Kaito sighed as well before he eventually stood up. He felt like his presence was no longer needed. In his mind, all he was really doing was continuing to mess things up, and if he wasn't going to make things better, he didn't find a need to stay in the room, so he decided that it was better to leave.

Rantaro had seen the fight happen, being kokichis second emergency contact “ your not listening to him momota, “ he said softly

Kaito sighed softly as he heard Rantaro, but he otherwise just ignored him, although he didn't walk away from him. When it came to the situation at hand, all he wanted to do was ignore it until it somehow went away, although that wasn't going to work. Even so, he just wanted to forget about it all.

“Kaito! Don't you dare leave kokochis side! He is upset damn it! He's trying to get you to stop worrying because stressing him out, and yet you can't fucking care less!?”

Kaito sighed softly before he forced himself to look at Rantaro. He truly didn't want to engage in the conversation with him, but he was left with no choice by that point. Even if he truly wanted to get rid of all of the problems somehow, just escape them all, he needed to remain there.

"I do care, you know!" he yelled in response. "I care a lot, actually! Do you really think I'd be concerned about him if I didn't care at all…!? He's my boyfriend and I have to watch his condition deteriorate like this…! You'd be worried too, if you were me…! Now just shut up!"

“I was you kaito! Shuichi died for a bit.. I had to watch him die! Did you forget that little detail?”

Kaito ended up growling at Rantaro. He was growing angry with him, although he didn't know why. In reality, he wasn't angry at all. The only reason he was arguing with the other to begin with was him finally breaking down from keeping all of his emotions bottled up for so long. The stress manifested itself as anger, causing him to continue arguing.

"I know that Shuichi died for a bit! He's my best friend, you know! I was with you! Did you forget that…!?" he yelled before slapping Rantaro. He was just that angry. "Now shut the fuck up!"

Rantaro snapped, grabbing kaito by his collar and slogging him in the nose “I suggest you calm the fuck down kaito. now”

Despite the attack, Kaito continued to growl at Rantaro. Even as he was in pain and felt blood pouring out of his nose, he refused to back down. He didn't fight the other back, but he was going to back down from the argument.

"Why should I calm down…?!" he yelled in response. "My boyfriend could die, and you're here fighting me! Just leave me the fuck alone already!"

Rantaro grit his teeth, knocking his nose and dropping his limp body, but kokichi had already sent an sos to shuichi

Shuichi rushed to the hospital the moment that he got the text. He was beyond concerned, although he didn't even know what was going on. He just ran to the hospital in a panic, sprinting as quickly as he could, too. By the time that he arrived, about five minutes later, he was completely out of breath as he rushed into the room.

"I'm here…!" he said before taking a moment to catch his breath. "Rantaro…why is Kaito on the ground…?" he asked, concerned. "And why is there blood pouring out of his nose? What did you do to him…?!"

“ I calmed him down, darling you shouldn't be running, you know my rules when your out of the hospital, “

Shuichi sighed softly in response to the statement. He was aware that his lover was concerned about him, but there were certainly bigger issues at the time, such as Kaito being unconscious. Rantaro mentioned calming him down, but knocking him out seemed a bit harsh.

"Sorry, but I thought it was an emergency, and, well, with Kokichi being in the hospital and Kaito being unconscious, it kinda is…" he explained. "Anyways, why'd you knock him out…?"

“ he was being violent and unreasonable “

Shuichi sighed at the explanation. While he figured that Kaito was likely behaving in that way, he wasn't sure why Rantaro felt the need to respond in an equally as violent manner. Due to that, there were only more issues to deal with at the time.

"Taro…knocking him out is also pretty violent…" he said softly. "And you may have broken his nose or something with how he's looking… Was this really all you could do…?"
