I had an irritating insect type creature in my world. It had vibrantly coloured wings, was about the size of a pinky nail, and traveled in swarms that resembled glittering clouds of colour.
They had a mildly venomous bite that caused an itching rash… like a pretty mosquito

Mine looks like a little bird, but if you get really close up it's basically a feathery porg with really big wings.

The fairy mouse.
Coming up to an average of 3/4 in tall, the fairy mouse lives off of whatever vegetation they can get their itsy-bitsy mouth around.
They are surprisingly intelligent for creatures with brains the size of a chia seed. Groups of them are known to form egalitarian societies, with simplistic, yet artistic, underground architecture.
One of the greatest known cultures of Fairy Mice was the Kase Empire, the mightiest lord of which was Lord Cheesenibble. Unfortunately, the Empire fell to Basilisk invaders, and it's ruins may be found on Google Maps. Look to the planet Ravin.

Seriously, I wrote this all out once. I got deep into the politics of Fairy Mouse political policies.

Maybe not the smallest creature in my world but it's definitely little. It's called a Teller and its a cross between a European dragon and a Skink and its a little bigger then a hand and its coloured blue and purple and green and it's how my world transports messages and stuff. And I think they're adorable

COG BEETLE FREAKING LOVE THIS THING! its anything from as big as the tip of your pinky all the way to the size of your head, Cog Beetles can go completely invisible not only to the eye, but to the senses and any magic, it is the only creature that even the gods cannot see

Not quite the tiniest, but wanted to share. :) Glow buds. These little creatures look like a tiny rosebud. When it gets dark, they start to glow and walk around to find food on teeny-tiny legs that pop out! During the day they usually sleep, but sometimes wake up. If they like you, they will wrap little feelers around you and hitch a ride and follow you. Super cute, super shy, but very loving.

the fairy bug. Its actually a real bug an aphid of some sort, but it looks like a fairy in a white dress. they disintegrate if you touch them, and the biggest one I have ever seen was about the size of 1/3 of a pinky nail.
