It's a simple command, just make a playlist with songs sung by an artist who has a voice similar to that of your characters! The lyrics don't have to apply to your OC's personality nor backstory, and that's totally fine, I just wanna know how they'd sound like.

Yeah, it’s difficult for me to pin down voices, but hopefully I’ll add more to the list. And, yes, On’nyosh is male, and has a very unique personality (but that’s another subject). Honestly, in regard to his name, (which is pronounced Ōn-yosh), it just popped into my head while I was working on his initial concept. But, if I had to guess, it was influenced by Yoshimitsu from the video game Soulcaliber (he’s a favorite).
Oh, and also, the leader singer of Avatar, the one On’nyosh’s voice is based off of, is actually pretty much like a real life version of On’nyosh. If you look him up, his name is Johannes Eckerström, you’ll see that his on-stage character is a clown. On’nyosh is a jester, and the two have very, very similar fashion styles (particularly in regard to the Hunter/Gatherer album). It’s actually really neat.
Oh, and a little spot on Lucitius. The song A Splintered Mind actually does fit his personality. He’s mentally unstable and has a very sad story, but his wife soothes him.

I've liked TOP for a long time, the voice just never quite fit Chester, though another band who's singer's voice I think kind of also fits him is McCafferty's (I no longer listen to McCafferty due to drama and allegations against the lead singer).
I'll probably add more as I find voices that fit, it's interesting to really think about how their voices would actually sound.

Lemme tell ya, March might have become one of my current fave songs! same with I Keep Trying, both real good * chef kiss *. And Asimi's voice is really unique as well, it's just deep enough to be… well, deep! but also very feminine. It sounds a bit like my voice, although mine is quite deeper and with lovely voice cracks (sometimes intentional) xD. And I've heard Penelope Scott's voice before, although it sounds a bit different in Sweet Hibiscus Tea (more… organic, perhaps? It's a very real voice tho, like, the type of voice you hear more commonly on a daily basis, unlike some songs with tons of highs and lows and autotune. And yes, this IS a compliment :)

I'm glad you liked the song choices! March and I Keep Trying are pretty good :D This was pretty hard to do cause I never considered what their voices would actually sound like plus the subsequent process of finding the right songs.
For Thala's voice, I was going for a smoother, more refined voice, I guess? Definitely a bit high pitched/nasally. For Touil, I was aiming for a rougher female voice - not exactly deep but still a bit deeper than normal. For Asimi's voice, I was looking for a deeper female voice with a powerful, suave kind of vibe. And finally for Auran! They're nonbinary, so it was a little harder to find the right voice, but I knew it was a bit on the higher pitched side. None of the songs I knew really matched, but Sweet Hibiscus Tea fit pretty well.
Anywho, this was interesting to figure out! I'll definitely be adding more in the future. :)

they're actually only from two universes! the first two sections are the same universe, just different teams, so I tend to separate them, but the last section is a different universe. and thank you much, I'm just proud of these boyos.
