Sorry for posting a bunch today that's probably annoying (゜▽゜;) (that's the closest I can get to an emoji on a kindle lol) but I'm on a big character surge today

So what are your character's theme songs and why? Here's mine :D

Charlotte: Speechless [Sang by Naomi Scott] I'll be honest, a bit part of this is the fact Charlotte is mute and I find it ironic to give her a song called 'speechless' but also especially as Leader she feels ignored a lot by the adults around her, but the others ways assure her that they will always listen to her opinions and thoughts
Autumn: Keep Your Head Up Princess [Anson Seabra] For one: Autumn is hier so the princess theme is there. Two: I can totally see this as one of the songs Dexter sings to her a baby because he's is best father and I love him. Also Autumn goes through A LOT in the books. She's very hopeful for all the crap she endures.
Bee: Break my face [AJR] it's all in the lyrics. ' But now you'll never drown, you can't, you got no mouth' Bee did in fact drown, her uncle saved her. The lines about eyes and not crying: Blind in one eye because of her scar, and would rather die than cry in front of someone. Overall this omg just screams Bee vibes for me lol but it makes more since than I feel like typing out.
Forrest: Life Has Only Begun [Anson Seabra] Idk if this'll stay, it's just what I have on my page lol. But this sounds like him giving himself a peptalk or calming himself down. Especially the 'Don't forget to breathe' part.
CD: Survivin' [Bastille] Again, the vibe of this just lets me imagine him singing this. Kinda about Autumn too but that's chill, they love one another lol, not much else to say.
Zayn: Broken [Anson Seabra It's the last one by hIM I'M SORRY] This is more of like end of Book two Zayn, after he's been through the coma, forgot who his own TWIN sister is twice, had to join the bad guys just to keep said sister safe. I think Zayn goes through the most crap TBH. Also I'm pretty sure he's just Keefe from KOTLC if you know what that is.
Periwinkle: I have down This is Me from TGS for some reason, but no. So I'll figure this one out later. She's my least loved character so uh…oops?
Luke: Stressed Out [TØP] Luke is always stressed, I love TØP, what'd you expect? It also talks about a brother in the song and I just see him see him talking about him and Liam taking the tree house ladder over student loans lol.
Liam: High Hopes [P!ATD] I also love Brenden Urie :') And Liam is my baby full of sunshine and leadership and this was like the first theme I picked for anyone. His VC used to even BE Brenden but Idk if it's like too high for Liam. Doesn't stop me from connecting every P!ATD song with him tho.

OHHH this looks like fun!
I don't really have character themes, but I certainly have songs associated with them (kinda like the song I would imagine in the background when they're introduced)

I will definitely return when I plan it all out!

Prince Destrian: Do or Die [30 Seconds to Mars]. I've legitimately started working on an animatic about Destrian to this song because of how well it fits. Destrian, the so-called leader of the Prophecy Party, has a lot of people counting on him. Do or Die just fits his story so well.

Prince Sadon: You Should See Me In A Crown [Billie Eilish]. Sadon is a prince exiled from his own kingdom and determined to get his throne back. He is the rightful king and he will do anything to make sure he gets that crown.

Arynalli Anuusi: Soldier, Poet, King [Oh Hellos]. It has a very cottagecore vibe, perfect for a librarian-turned-soldier. Aryn would definitely be the poet to this song, calmly sitting in their library reading or writing.

Sir Peter Deximenis: Lean on Me [Bill Withers]. Peter is the most loyal friend you could imagine. He was Destrian's best friend for years and quickly became friends with the rest of the Prophecy Party when he met them. He has an undying love for all of them and he would do anything for them.

The Prophecy Party as a whole (all four of them): Warriors [Imagine Dragons]. It fits so well. They're young, just barely even adults (the oldest of them is Aryn, at 20 years old). They have no idea what they're doing but they're trying anyways.

I(too) have songs i associate with my characters, but not themes.

Desmond: despicable[grandson]. It’s really really him… but he’s all better now(mostly).
Amanda: waste my hate[icon for hire]. The line “are you obsessed with me, honey?” Really reminds me of her and her sass.
Jamie: bugbear[chloe moriondo]. He feels kind of like this. It’s also what he’d listen to.

Liam: killer in the mirror[set it off]. I feel like the title says it all. “-and sorry but i don’t feel bad.“ yeah, he really… doesn’t.

Sebastian: love song[YUNGBLUD]. Minus the fact he’s an only child.

(i have playlists for all of my dudes, so I shall give the best song from each. i get really into picking the music for my characters, so apologies for the ramblings.)
Frog: Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds [The Beatles] - They've got vintage vibes, they're a stoner, and I just really like this song.
Dick: Lay All Your Love On Me [Mamma Mia] - I could have added the actual ABBA song, but I wanted only one song per artist and I already had a different ABBA song. Also, this song pretty much perfectly captures his dramatic artistic side, and it's the song in the movie when all the shirtless dudes start dancing in sync on the pier and I think he would want that.
Juniper: Dead Weight [Jack Stauber] - I worked on this playlist with my friend who Juniper's based on, and this was one of his additions, so I kinda felt obligated to make this the main vibe, but it also captures his weird tastes.
Shiloh: Tongue Tied [Grouplove] - Like Juniper, this playlist was a collaborative effort with the person who Shiloh's based on, so I picked one of her additions. It's got the right chaotic optimist vibes and I also just really like the song.
Vanessa: Heart Of Glass [Blondie] - She's a weird character, but I wanted her vibes to sound vaguely threatening but still "girlboss"ish. I feel like this song encapsulates those vibes.
Alex: Necromancin Dancin [Bear Ghost] - They're a demon boyo and their vibes reflect that: chaotic, loud, and confusing.

Simon: Grand Romantic Life [Mom Rock] - This is basically my self-insert character, so their vibes are my vibes but with more chaos. I like this song, especially not only because the music itself is very their vibe, but also because it's against everything my story is: fictional romance.
CJ: Stars in the City [Old Dominion] - CJ's my one singular country character because I genuinely don't like country music but it does fit her vibe. This is here half because it's country and half because it talks about stars and that's one of her motifs.
Logan: My Heart Is Buried In Venice [Ricky Montgomery] - Oh Montgomery Ricky, how I love this album. Logan's songs are very chill but with big messages and things to share, and I think this song captures that pretty well.

@LiteralCyborg group

Minnie: Borderline (Nico Collins) - The lyrics are just about perfect for Minnie's backstory and the overall sort of intense vibe really fits her. The song is really fierce and it feels perfect for the wayward leader of a group of chaotic teenage heroes.

Sage: Dance Monkey (Tones and I) - The song has a very specific vibe to it. It's fun and chill but the lyrics tell a story of a person being manipulated and controlled, just like Sage had been for years before joining the squad. Plus, Sage just likes dancing.

Ethan: Carry on Wayward Son (Kansas) - The vibe of this song is perfect for Ethan; fun and loud. But the lyrics are really important to his character as well. He's a wanderer, eternally moving through space-time searching for a permanent home. He is, essentially, a wayward son.

Reese: Rolling Girl (Wowaka) - Reese's whole story is about their life coming undone through no fault of their own until they meet the rest of the gang. A song about spiraling endlessly downhill really fits them and the upbeat tone of the song represents how they mask their problems and emotions.

The team as a whole: 100 Bad Days (AJR) - The team shares a strong family dynamic and have made a lot of memories with each other, hence the song. The lyrics perfectly capture the chaotic, domestic vibe that the group shares and they have been with each other through the hardest parts of their lives, having loved and lost and fought.
