Ok, he sounds really interesting. But I think you should really write a backstory. And maybe tell what his laser-arm-thing is, why his watch is so important for him. And I'm interested in who Lily is. And what is a life symbol, just explain such things.

Lily was the only one who cared about him and showed genuine interest in his line of work (machinery). She reincarnates every 15 years, though, and before she died, she told him about reincarnation and her connections with Death and revealing her Death mark, making him impervious to dying and accidentally making him immortal, so his life mark appeared. Lily also gave Alex a watch before she died. His life mark generates energy, leading him to invent a machine that uses that energy as lasers.

Ok, thanks, that sounds like a really great storyline, I would totally read it if you ever wrote a book
