I'm thinking of making a character with a really unique power, like a power that doesn't have a proper name, like telekinesis has a name for itself.
Any suggestions?

Changing probability? Like, say there's a six out of ten chance to get a red marble from a bag. A two out of ten for a blue one, and a two out of ten for a yellow one. spills a bag of marbles so you can see them all and count them Now, there's zero probability that you'll draw any purple ones, because there are no purple ones. puts the marbles back in the bag and pulls out a red one. Puts the red one back and pulls out another red one See? puts the marble back in the bag But, if we change the probability to three out of ten for a purple one… shakes the bag before drawing out a red one, sighs Give me a moment. puts the marble back and draws out a blue one, then a yellow one, and two more red ones, putting them back each time. finally draws a purple one There we go! You know, maybe I should have just set the probability to ten out of ten… But, that's the thing to keep this power from being over powered. You'll never be able to one hundred percent chance something. And, you'll also have to always think about the chances you can be missing out on. puts the purple marble back in the bag then spills the marbles on the table. There's not a purple one to be found I guess you could also make it to where things don't really change at all. Or, you could have no one believe the person who has this power really has it, and that they're just pulling cheap tricks.

I don't know. It's just a suggestion. A weird one, and I'm sorry for explaining it a weird way. Good luck writing!

There's something called technomagic where you can manipulate technology. It has a name but it is rarely used.

Change the density of any substance

Maybe the ability to manipulate gravity? (Like you can increase or decrease gravity's pull on an object.) I'm pretty sure it has a name, but I've only seen it used once in a book.

You can check the Fandom.Wiki for different superpowers if you'd like. That can give you some good ideas, and I use it pretty often.

there's a power I saw someone bring up on tumblr once, I thought it was cool.
the power to refill things. sounds simple, has a pretty simple concept, it just depends on how you use it.
no more food? refill your plate. the river ran dry? refill it. your friend is bleeding out? reFILL THEM QUICKLY!
you ran out of arrows? refill your quiver. there are a lot of possibilities for this one. I hope this helped!

That could be like a curse or a blessing, I person could say have been deceived by people throughout his life and he wishes to "see through deception" or something of the sort and he gets that. great idea lol
