Me: Hm…I see I see

Carol: The dragons in our world speak both in their true and human forms. Course, getting them to talk to you if they do not see you in a positive light is another story
My people, the Guasnan, are allies with the beasts, them also being allied with the Harpy Kingdom. Both the dragons and harpies offer us protection in our mountain villages, as us Guasnan prefer our solitude, though we do get the occasional visit from a race outside of the dragons and harpies.
Then the Dragonkin and Dragonians are also allies with the Dragon Kingdom

Eilander: Has seemed to build up more courage to leave the safety near Carol's side, approaching closer to Phalakros. The small dragon chick soon plops himself down in front of the male, looking up with his blue eyes. Tilts his small horned head, a frown crossing his muzzle at the question

Carol: Pauses in her knitting for a moment
My guess is whoever either made or put the collar on the child is the one able to remove it. Who or what that person or creature is, is another story
I assumed Deimos destroyed whatever horrible place held Eilander and the occupants, but of course, some may have escaped, not all of which should've escaped the Sil'maat's Judgement

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) “Forgive me for asking. I had hoped for a simple solution.”
He pauses a moment, smiling shyly at Eilander. He then glances up at Carol.
“‘Tis fascinating your tale. All of the alliances. The Drākon’gard have created a truce with many creatures, yet we have few allies. Yet, all of these other creatures are of other realms. Well, except for the colony of Drāgod’n Vol in the River of Snakes. Cardinal Kyliin is another ally of mine, and to Lucitius.”

(Me) Drāgod’n Vol are amphibious distant cousins to the Drākon’gard. They’re also roughly crepuscular (still working this part out). Cardinals are like High Priests and Mayors put together.

@Dragoncita group

Carol: Smiles softly
Better to ask my dear, than leave the question unanswered. There is no such thing as a silly question

Eilander: stands up again, moving closer to Phalakros, lightly pawing at his foot, being careful as he does so

Carol: Oh there is such an interesting assortment of creatures in our world
Some living on other lands across the oceans and seas. Though I openly admit, I myself have never seen such vast waters, have only ever heard tales from the visitors to my tavern in our village; Dornwich.
Leans slightly back in her chair
I never really had the chance to leave our mountainous home, Guasnan like me raised to believe it is better to stay in our isolated home where it is safe and away from the dangers of the outside world. I suppose there is some logic to it, but then what are we to learn, when the rest of the outside world advances, and we are left to our more primative means so to speak

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He shrugs.
“The Drākon’gard realm is a barren place, mainly stone. Few plants, one type of tree, no ocean. The River of Snakes is the only water, and it circles nearly the entire realm. Lucitius says that beneath the surface, there is a massive cavern, and that is the realm’s ocean, yet I know not.”
He looks down at Eilander.
“Do you wish to be held? And worry not, your claws will not hurt me.”
Phalakros wiggles his three clawed toes. His entire foot was covered in scales.

@Dragoncita group

Carol: Interesting…
A frown crosses her features
Sounds a bit boring…but don't mind me dear, I may have stepped out of line saying about that. I mean no disrespect to your world
bows her horned head slightly, raising it up again
Can't expect every place to be the same

Eilander: Lightly moves a paw, as if trying to hold down one of Phalakros' claws, then removing his paw again. Looks up as he his spoken to. The small dragon lifts upwards onto his back legs, the tiny wings on his back flaring out only a few feet, then folding back against his sides. Gives a few chirps while balancing on his hind legs, tail swaying a bit behind him

Carol: Observes, smiling softly
Well, tis good to see the Kirde has calmed down again
Breaks my old heart to see any little one in such a upset state

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He shrugs again.
“The landscape can indeed be boring, yet there are other things that make it interesting. The rare storms are fascinating to watch, and the air itself is visible. The realm is covered in a red haze, and when the wind blows, you can watch it. We also have two suns and moons. The dawn of the second sun is always beautiful, as you can see both suns on the opposite horizon.”
He smiled thoughtfully. He looks at Eilander and his smile grows wider.
“You are indeed a handsome dragon. I have become too accustomed to Lucitius through the millenia. ‘Tis a relief to see a different dragon, and a true one.”

(Me) I sometimes really suck at interpretation, so I’m just going to ask. Is Eilander wanting to be held, wanting to play, or is he just showing that he’s happy? Or is it something entirely different?

@Dragoncita group

Me: Nah, its all good
Eilander is more so just exploring and trying to be playful, but being in a cage for most of his life, he doesn't quite understand how to 'play'
He only managed to stay by his mother's side for 5 months or so, since she hid his egg away, then once he hatched, hid him for as long as she could before he was eventually found and taken away from her side
From there on out, Eilander has only known a life in a cramped cage, the only time being let out was so his captors could torture and beat him before returning him back to the cage once they finished with him

???: You mean that bitch who locked dragons up? Hell, she locked anyone up who didn't play her along with her being a 'queen'
In a nearby corner, a male stood, back leaned against the wall, arms crossed in front of his chest. Messy brown, nearly black, hair has fallen over his face

Carol: Head lifts, ears swiveling forward
Pardon me, you are?

???: An annoyed 'tsk' seems to come from the scrawny male
Who I am is no concern

Carol: Lays her ears back
I see…apologies

Eilander: Gives a happy chirrup at the compliment, though grows quiet, head turning towards the newcomer. Blue eyes glow, the small wings on his back rustling a bit. Despite the stranger's rather sudden appearance and disgruntled appearance, the dragon chick seems to not be too bothered, remaining focused upon Phalakros

Carol: Glances back to Phalakros
Quite interesting indeed
I cannot say I have seen such a sight of 2 suns and moons

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Me) Thank you. That makes sense. Intriguing newcomer. I’m honestly still debating if I want to add another of my characters, such a hard call.

(Phalakros) He glances up at the newcomer warily. He looks toward Lucitius, then back at Eilander. He smiles timidly at Eilander’s cheery mood, chuckling, and he wiggles his toes again.

(Lucitius) Though he heard nothing, his head abruptly whips around to gaze at the newcomer. He teleports, appearing inside the field, near the newcomer. His eyes bore into him, appraising the newcomer.

(Phalakros) He glances at Lucitius, but returns to looking at Eilander.

@Dragoncita group

Me: I tend to juggle characters back and forth
More likely to keep my attention to sub out characters, least for awhile, then probably bring them back later on
Deimos will most likely make a return, in due time

Eilander: Jumps a few times, weaving in and out between Phalakros legs, seeming more like a puppy that was happy it was getting attention. Lightly pounces on his foot again, trying to hold down his toes, tail swaying back and forth behind him

Carol: Watches the dragon chick, a smile appearing on her muzzle as she sits back, starting to knit again

???: Lifts head, hair parting over one eye to reveal a yellowish green gaze. Despite the sudden and rather aggressive appearance of Lucitius, seems unbothered
Well, aren't you a happy looking son of a bitch

Me: Yea, this guy has kinda no fucks to give

???: Listen, I've dealt with enough shit. One day sitting in my lab minding my own damn business, next thing I know I'm being dragged out and tossed in that hellhole
I've dealt with nicer demons, which is saying something

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He laughs as Eilander plays. When Eilander holds down his toes, he wiggles the toes of his other foot.

(Lucitius) He continues to watch the newcomer, relaxing somewhat. He glances over at Phalakros, chuckling. His eyes return to the newcomer, watching every move, even his breathing.

(Me) And I’m saying hell with it. This next guy is actually from one of my sci-fi stories, but he’s been stuck on my brain. He’s a cyborg of sorts, but is more human than machine. I can take him out if you don’t approve.

(???) An old human appears, wearing a worn scientist’s coat. A strange metal mask is imbedded in the left side of his face, a similar plate in set in his left shoulder, but it disappears under his coat.

He looks around appraisingly, then snorts at the sight of everyone. He reaches into a pocket, pulling out a miniature chair, taps it, then drops it. The chair enlarges and he sits down, pulling out something else that resembles a jagged sphere and a screwdriver. He starts to chuckle as he fiddles with the sphere.

“Surrounded by organic idiots. How marvelous,”he says in a raspy voice.

@Dragoncita group

Eilander: Chirps happily, rising up onto his back legs, then pouncing on Phalakros other foot, trying to hold his toes down, tail swaying faster

???: The single eye seen lands on Lucitius as well
Am I that fascinating to watch?
Ugh, guess better tha-…
Suddenly doubles over, several rough coughs escaping. This coughing fit seems to last several moments before he finally seems to catch his breath again. Lifts a hand, wiping the corner of his mouth, looking down to see a black smear, more of which was slightly trickling out of the corner of his mouth
Goddamn them…
Pauses, hearing the other newest addition
'Organic idiots'? Well fucking excuse me for living…
Mumbles something under his breath, wincing and clutching his chest

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He glances around, then turns back to Eilander. He wiggles the toes of his uncovered foot, snickering.

(Lucitius) His head tilts, his eyes inquisitive as he watches the first newcomer cough. He glances at the old human, his eyes narrowing breifly.

(???) The old man listens closely as he turns the screwdriver ever so slowly. He hears a faint click and stops, grinning.
“Now, wake up, my little friend. Wake up.”
The sphere starts to glow, a blinking red light flashing in its center.
“Sleep… for now.”
The red light blinks out and the old man sits there a moment. He turns and scowls as the other newcomer starts to cough.
“Shut up with the coughing or die already! I’m too old, and been alone for too long, to have to listen to that shit!”
He then grimaces in pain, and he growls angrily.
“God damn piece of shit eye!”
He reaches up to his left eye and unscrews it. He glares at it with his right eye, then blows on it and screws it back in. He notices Lucitius and huffs.
“What the hell are you looking at, lizard?”

(Lucitius) He looks back at the old man.
“Watch your tone, and be quieter, human.”

(???) He flashes Lucitius an obscene gesture.
“Lizard, I will do whatever I want, however I want. Now, where’s my goddamn toolkit?”
He digs around in the pockets of his coat for several minutes. He finally finds a small box and he puts the screwdriver up, then looks through it for a moment. He sighs and shuts it, once more digging around in his pockets.

@Dragoncita group

Eilander: Pauses in his playing for a moment, lifting his head to look over to the newest addition. Though at the sudden, harsh tone, though directed elsewhere, the dragon chick seems to wince, moving with his tail tucked between his legs behind Phalakros. Rubs his small head against the male's leg

???: Well fucking good for you old man
I don't have the benefit of being filled with metal and whatever else those 'machines' are made of
Ugh, never trust machines, especially the ones that can move, and worse, think

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He gently pets Eilander.
“Hopefully this argument will pass quickly.”

(???) “I’m a goddamn human! I built the machines, right after I singlehandedly caused the equivalent of a nuclear holocaust! I use science to keep this weak body going, so I can watch my machines flourish.”

(Lucitius) He looks at the old man with a raised eyebrow.

(???) “What the hell are you staring at? Do you need a demonstration?”

(Lucitius) “Who and when are you?”

(???) “Obviously not from your time. My name is Malcolm Harkolar, known by many names to the few human survivors. ‘Destroyer of Man.’ ‘Traitor to his Kind.’ All that shit. And I stopped keeping track of time the day I hit 90.”

(Me) He’s an old, grouchy bastard if you can’t tell, and he’s actually around 147 years old. One of the few human characters I have, and a favorite.

(Lucitius) “You are indeed of a different time than I and my companion.”

(Malcolm) “You think I give a shit.”

(Lucitius) His eyes narrowed dangerously.

(Malcolm) “Keep giving me that look and find out what my little friend here does.”
He pulls out the jagged sphere he had worked on minutes ago.

(Phalakros) “Why must everyone fight?”

@Dragoncita group

Eilander: Continues to hide behind Phalakros legs. Body starts to shake now and then. Looks upwards towards Phalakros, giving a soft chirrup, as if agreeing to the other's words

???: Gives a soft 'tsk'
If I'm supposed to be impressed, I'm not
Don't know what a nuclear holocaust is, nor do I really care
Glares at the strange sphere that was suddenly pulled out
Wonder how well that little piece of tin would do against hellfire…

Me: I see lel

Eilander: Lays down on his stomach, partially curling behind Phalakros, resting his horned head on the ground next to his foot, blue eyes closely watching the strangers, body quivering now and then

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He continues to softly pet Eilander, hoping to comfort Eilander as much as himself.

(Malcolm) “I could give a shit if you’re impressed, but this ‘piece of tin’ is a bomb of my own design. I have studied nanotechnology since before half my body was blown to bits, so trust me when I say I know what I’m doing. This entire place, with everyone in it, will blow sky high if I want it to. And I have no qualms of letting it, I could give a shit if I live or die.”

(Lucitius) He gives a little growl, but seems to shrink a bit at Malcolm’s last words.
“Few humans are foolish enough to be suicidal.”

(Malcolm) “Tell that to the billions of idiots I blew up decades ago. They were all plenty suicidal.”
He chortled.
“Besides, lizard, I’m not that stupid. I wouldn’t waste a bomb on any of you without adequate reason.”

(Lucitius) “Then why the threats?”

(Malcolm) “Because I’m goddamn bored! Come on, where’s all the action? Bring on the hellfire, smite me down like a dog! All of you, the first organic folk I have seen in decades, stand here like idiots as I blabber on! Shit, where’s the booze around here? I’d rather drink myself to death first!”
He stands, pocketing the bomb, and pulls out a long, smooth pistol. He fiddles with it a moment, then shoots at the force field, a pellet banging off the field and exploding with sparks. The field vanishes instantly and Malcolm walks around, searching.
“Alright, where’s the goddamn exit?”

(Lucitius) “What exit?”
He starts to snicker.

(Malcolm) He points the pistol at Lucitius.
“This thing can destroy a lot more than force fields.”

(Lucitius) He raises his arms, daring the old man.

(Malcolm) “And you call me a suicidal idiot. Dumbass hypocrite, just like the rest of my species.”

(Lucitius) He laughs.
“I am insane, human.”
He teleports in front of Malcolm, slapping away the pistol, and picks him up by the throat. He then walks over to the chair and drops him into it.
“Sit here and shut it.”
He walks away.

(Malcolm) He sits a moment, coughing and sputtering, then stands and retrieves his pistol. He returns Lucitius’ responding glare.
“This is a one of a kind.”

(Lucitius) “Sit.”

(Malcolm) He huffs, then shoots Lucitius. The pellet explodes on contact, the sparks engulfing Lucitius. However, Lucitius is unfazed.
“Well shit.”

(Lucitius) He raises a finger and a lightning bolt flashes forth, sending Malcolm flying back. He huffs and turns to the other newcomer.
“I hope you are not as troublesome.”

(Malcolm) He lays several dozen feet away, gasping, his hair spiked and his body smoking. It takes a long while before he is able to sit up. He doesn’t move from that spot, still trying to comprehend what had just happened to him. Though, a few minutes later, he unscrews his false left eye and tosses the smoking orb aside, ignoring the fresh burns on his fingers. He then puts his forehead in his hand, groaning.

(Lucitius) He glances back at Malcolm and his eyebrow rises. He is genuinely surprised that the old man survived his bolt of lightning.

(Me) I apparently got a little carried away.

@Dragoncita group

Me: No such thing as ever getting carried away. The more the better

Eilander: Body starts to quiver even more at the sudden raising of voices and the menacing air seeming to grow heavy. Lifts up onto his back legs, resting his front paws on Phalakros looking upwards. Gives a few upset chirrups, nuzzling his head into the male's thigh

Carol: Had remained silent, sitting and knitting away. Her ears swivel back and forth, listening intently. For a moment her gaze lifts, watching where Eilander had gone off to, though once seeing the little one seeking comfort from Phalakros, a soft smile appears on her muzzle

???: Here, just let me point you to our world and see you try that shit with the dragons. They would've torn you apart in a heartbeat
Watches through narrowed eyes. Seeming to not really care as Lucitius and the stranger seem to be feuding against each other. Tilts his head back, still seeming to clutch his chest, breaths slightly wheezing from still trying to catch his breath it seems. Gaze shifts back to Lucitius at the question. Gives a slight wheezing chuckle
I can hardly do anything now…those bastards decided to use me for foolish experiments, and now I'm currently struggling just to try and breath while I'm slowly being killed from the inside out…least it feels like it ever since they sealed that voidspawn inside me
Grimaces
You can mess with the hells as much as you want, but the void…
Shudders

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lucitius) He growls, baring his fangs.

(Phalakros) “Lucitius!”

(Lucitius) He turns to Phalakros, calming considerably. He notices Phalakros’ pleading gaze and the shaking Eilander and sighs. His eyes glance angrily between Malcolm and the newcomer, but he moves away.

(Malcolm) He looks up with his one eye, noticing the interaction between Lucitius and Phalakros. He puts away the pistol and pulls out his toolkit and an orb. With a coughing sigh, he begins to work on it. Several minutes pass and he uses a small spray on it, then screws it into the empty space in his mask. Under his breath, he starts to grumble.
“The only spare, gone like that. Goddamn lizard.”

(Lucitius) “I heard that.”

(Malcolm) “Like I care.”
He slowly stands, limping to the chair, his left leg dragging behind. He flashes Lucitius another obscene gesture and snickers, coughing.

(Lucitius) “You still wish to live?”

(Malcolm) “I’m not dead yet. Come on, that was weak. I have metal plates everywhere and you still couldn’t kill me! That was a tiny zap!”

(Lucitius) He starts to growl again.

(Phalakros) “Will you stop?”
He sighs, shaking his head.

(Lucitius) He looks at Phalakros and sighs as well.

(Malcolm) “Why should I listen to you, feathers?”

(Phalakros) “Just shut it and do what you will. Both of you ignore each other.”

(Malcolm) “Where’s the fun in that?”

(Phalakros) “‘Tis fun to build your trinkets without provoking Lucitius.”

(Malcolm) “True, but I’m still not convinced.”

(Lucitius) “You keep your weapons to yourself, I ignore you.”

(Malcolm) “You stay over there and leave me alone.”

(Phalakros) “‘Tis a deal. Now shut it, both of you.”

(Lucitius) He looks at Phalakros in bewilderment.

(Malcolm) He turns away and starts snickering.
“Feathers. That he could stop an argument while he cowers. Goddamn lizards.”
He snickers.
“I would have thought the goat would speak up by now. Or even the infant there.”

(Phalakros) “Leave Eilander out of this.”

(Malcolm) “Hey, I didn’t start this. It was Lucitius there that started this argument and upset that little dragon there.”

(Lucitius) He starts to growl again.
“You dare.”

(Malcolm) “Oh, I dare. I have nothing better to do in this place. Unless, the voidspawn host over there wants me to cut out the thing for him. Though, I’m not sure he’d appreciate that, as I’d set the thing free on you, Lucitius.”

(Lucitius) His growl rises.

@Dragoncita group

Carol: Lays her ears flat back against her head
Much like you sir when it comes to age, I am far too old to be in any skirmishes. We Guasnan are not fighters, less push comes to shove, even then, you would most likely not be facing us, but our allies. Should the horn ever sound in our village, you can be sure a swarm of angry dragons and harpies will soon come swarming

Eilander: The small dragon's form seems to shimmer, once again the 5 year old child form of the young dragon is standing hugging Phalakros leg, body shaking, tail tucked between his legs. His wings are messily folded against his back, body shaking now and then. As in human form, seems to have found his voice again, being soft and stuttering much like when he had first appeared
L-loud…scary…they a-a-always yelled…stabbing…cutting…

???: Shifts his head towards the small, draconic child, watching for several moments, then looks over towards the metallic figure, huffing
Ya know, between all the yelling and large metal pieces, course that shit is gonna upset the kid
I came from the same hellhole as him, locking us up in cages. Though that bitch had a major thing against dragons, don't know what they did to her. Just know they were treated a lot shitter than the rest of us
Shifts a bit, lowering his hand from where he had been clutching his chest
A warlock myself can handle plenty of things, but when it comes to the void plane in our world, that place is a whole other story
The void creatures and spawns, none can master. Yet they had the great 'idea' to try and seal one in a vessel that they thought could carry it and let them control it.
If it had been a demon, that would've been a different story…those fuckers killed my lovely Hreaeslav…my pet didn't deserve what they did to her…
Closes his eyes, sighing
It is not so simply as just cutting my chest open and releasing it, seals don't work that way in our world

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) “I know this can be frightening, yet this is simply two creatures being petty fools.”

(Lucitius) He notices Eilander and sighs. He walks away, sitting down and brooding. He periodically looks up to watch what’s going on.

(Malcolm) “Petty fools? I thought I had killed all of those. Ugh, why the hell am I here? Where’s my goddamn solitude and quiet? Give me the AIs over this! At least, they’re quiet when they decide to visit, and they’ll shoot me and everyone in sight with no remorse.”
He sighs.
“So, what is this seal? What some sort of ‘magical’ device? Don’t you people realize that ‘magic’ is simply science? Just because you folk are ‘magicians’, doesn’t mean I can’t figure out ways to do the exact same thing with science!”

(Lucitius) “Fool humans. Never fails,”he grumbles.

(Malcolm) “You are an annoying lizard, nothing more. And demons are figments of imagination.”

(Lucitius) He shook his head, snickering.
“Arrogance in ignorance. What can be worse?”

(Malcolm) “I know my world quite well, lizard. Don’t think I’m ignorant.”

(Lucitius) “There are other realms with other societies and creatures. You are blind if you cannot see the small variety in front of you.”

(Malcolm) “Yes, thank you for reminding me that my real eye is nearly blind. I appreciate that,”he sarcastically replies.

(Lucitius) “Useless human.”

(Malcolm) “Useless? How does surviving on your own in a barren wasteland qualify as ‘useless’?”

(Lucitius) “Mindless.”

(Malcolm) “Ugh, to hell with this. You’re just boring the shit out of me, now.”
He lifts his left pant leg, pulling out his toolkit and a small syringe. He takes out a vial of white liquid, fills the syringe, and jabs it in his knee. He then wiggles his bare toes and tests his leg, no longer limping. He checks the vial, now empty, and sighs.
“If only I had my lab here. This shit takes a while to make.”
He rolls down his pant leg, then stands up and starts to pace.

@Dragoncita group

Eilander: watches quietly, body still quaking, tail tucked between his legs

???: Shakes his head, the raspy chuckle escaping his throat
Ah, but I have to agree with the large, draconic friend here…quite foolish indeed old man
Lifts his head, yellow-green gaze intent
Seals are more often used on greater, powerful beasts, ancient bonds that allow the binding of a creature that could very well destroy an entire world should it feel like it
Though, like everything, seals do eventually weaken over time, and with it, the bearer of the seal. Considering what is being sealed, sometimes the seal can be passed onto another, to let them continue to carry it
The more powerful the beast, the more powerful host is needed to keep it contained
Course, could always just kill the one bearing the seal, but with the death of the sealbearer, means the freedom of whatever creature or thing was being sealed
Eyes narrow
I doubt this 'science', as you call it, could handle containing creatures that don't give a damn about that shit
Much as I would like to be rid of this pain and the creature sealed inside me, it's going to take more than a few pieces of metal to get it done…might have to look into visiting an older warlock I know…if I can remember where he is again

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Malcolm) He huffs.
“Given enough time to research, anything is possible. Hell, the AIs have far surpassed me, and have likely discovered how to travel between planets by now, a barely accessible dream when humans still existed. I don’t mind though. They leave me alone, and I mind my own business. I also tell them where other humans are, if the bastards are alive. I doubt I qualify as human by now, seeing as half of me is metal.”
He chuckles.
“And you underestimate science. There is more to it than metal and research. I specialize in nanotechnology, but there are dozens of other sciences and technologies in existence, and many more yet to be discovered by me.”

(Lucitius) “Shut it. I am weary of your ramblings of science. Aye, it can be useful, yet you are the only one here who uses it. Be happy with that and shut it.”

(Malcolm) “Was I speaking to you, lizard?”

(Lucitius) “That is irrelevant. Tinker and leave the rest of us be.”

(Malcolm) “I will do what I please, when I please.”

(Lucitius) “I can throw another lightning bolt and watch you roast, then eat you. Piss me off, and that shall be what I will do. Your trinkets will not harm me, and you would be wise to attack only me.”

(Malcolm) “Like that’s supposed to intimidate me.”

(Lucitius) He glares.
“Sit there and be quiet.”

(Malcolm) “As I said, I will do whatever I damn please. If you want to fry me, go ahead.”
He stood and took out a miniature table, tapping and dropping it like the chair. It grew and Malcolm sat down again, pulling out his toolkit and several machines.
“I am tinkering, but not because you said so. It’s about the only thing to do in this damned hellhole. So, if you don’t mind…”

(Lucitius) “Aye, tinker away. As long as you stay quiet.”

(Malcolm) “Keep ordering me around, and I’ll find something more powerful to shoot you with.”

(Lucitius) “When you can kill a demigod, then I will feel threatened.”

(Malcolm) “Who needs demigods when you can make anything you want with a little metal and a wrench?”

(Lucitius) “Who needs mechanists when a demigod can create and destroy anything he desires?”

(Phalakros) “Will you two stop with the pissing match, I beg? You two seem like children.”

(Lucitius) He looks at Phalakros and sighs again.

(Malcolm) He starts to laugh, a harsh wheezing sound that wasn’t pleasant in any way.
“Like children. How about that. Long time since I’ve been called a child, or even seen one.”
He continues to laugh, even as he starts working on the machines on the table.

@Dragoncita group

???: Gazes intently towards Malcolm for several moments, then throws his head back, a maniacal laugh escaping
HAHA! GOOD ONE OLD MAN!
Aaaahh, that's fucking hilarious how much you think you know, what you have yet to learn!
And considering how short human lifespans are, even compared to my own…heh, good luck

Carol: Had remained knitting away, though despite sitting back in her chair, ears have been swiveling back and forth, seemingly constantly on the watch should anything be considered a threat. Lifts her head, looking towards Phalakros and Eilander
Eilander, little Kirde, I'm sure if you asked young Phalakros politely, he'd hold you for a bit
I'd hold you again, but my arms are still rather tired from holding you earlier
I'm nowhere near as young as I once had been and able to hold two little ones at once
Smiles gently towards the pair

Eilander: The child was still clinging to the older male's leg. Though lifts his head as the elderly Guasnan speaks. Body shakes, tail remaining tucked between his legs. Shifts his gaze towards the ground, small wings shifting slightly against his back messily

Carol: Take your time dear, no need to force yourself if you don't feel like it

???: Laughing has died down to wheezes, clutching his chest again. Uses the back of his hand to wipe his mouth, glancing down and seen slight black smears
Aaahhh fuck…you're back at it again aren't ya bastard…I really hate coughing up this shit…

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Phalakros) He looks at Eilander, his expression soft and patient.
“You only need ask, yet I will not force you to do something you wish not to.”
He gave Eilander a shy smile.

(Malcolm) “Thank you for reminding me that I’m old, and that I will never learn everything. I didn’t need those goddamn reminders, because I am already well aware of them, but fine! Now, if you’ll shut up with your dumbass words, it will make ignoring you that much easier.”

(Lucitius) “Now you decide to be quiet. ‘Tis shocking.”

(Malcolm) “Shut up, lizard! You’re already boring to me. I never gave much of a shit about organic folk, anyway.”

(Lucitius) “Aye, you are a true mechanist, pitiful and proud.”

(Malcolm) “Look, lizard, shut that damn mouth and leave me be, or I’m going to make something that will actually kill you. Or… call someone. I know I can’t defeat you on my own, so don’t goddamn say it, but I know others that can fight you.”

(Lucitius) “Calling for help now. I am terribly frightened,”he whimpers, mocking Malcolm.

(Malcolm) “How I hate organics,”he mutters, glaring. He becomes completely silent then, busying himself with his machines.

(Lucitius) “Freedom from the foul human!”
He laughs.

(Malcolm) “Damn. I need a bigger table.”
He smirks at the machine before him, then scrutinizes the floor, calculating.

(Lucitius) “Still working on a machine. I could finish it for you.”
His tone drips with ridicule.

(Malcolm) “You have never earned a damn thing in your life, have you?”
He says this without looking up, then begins laying out the several pieces of machinery on the floor in a roughly circular shape.

(Lucitius) He growls.
“I have earned more than you shall ever know! I have died many times to achieve my goals!”

(Malcolm) He snorts, chuckling.
“I only died once, and that began this journey into the mechanist’s paradise. I don’t see your scars. Why should I believe any word you have said, lizard? You can plainly see what I do for a living, and I don’t care enough to be completely condescending about my work. Unless, of course, I happen to be surrounded by a bunch of ignorant assholes, but that’s another story entirely.”

(Lucitius) His growl becomes sharper and he summons a force field around Malcolm. He glares at the soundless image of Malcolm laughing, but is relieved by the lack of noise.

(Phalakros) “You, two, share many things. Why you cannot get along, I know not.”

(Lucitius) He huffs.
“I deal with enough humans for lifetimes. I need no more of it, especially from such an annoying human as him.”

(Phalakros) “He is right. You can be a bit condescending occasionally.”

(Lucitius) He sighs with a growl, glaring toward Malcolm.

Carol: shifts her gaze to the still unknown male. Shifts a bit in her chair, reaching down into her basket
You never did introduce yourself my dear…you think you will be strong enough to find this other warlock friend of your's?

Gerard: Let himself slide down to the floor, leaning his back against the wall. Eyes had started to close, though opens more again at the Guasnan's voice. Turns his head slightly to face her
Name's Gerard…warlock who focused on the more hellish parts of magic in our world…

Carol: Pauses, laying her ears back
Oh?

Gerard: Seeming to notice the old Guasnan's demeanor change, gives a wheezy chuckle
I'm no threat, only ever worked with the lesser denizens of the hells, and when I summoned them, I was always in control
…not like this current void shit

Eilander: Winces slightly at the harsh interactions happening further away, remaining behind Phalakros. Though his blue eyes shift from Carol, then back up towards Phalakros. The young child seems to release his grip, raising his hands upwards towards the male

Carol: Watches the one who called himself 'Gerard' a few moments longer, then looks back over, a soft smile gracing her muzzle
Well, that's quite a clear indication to be picked up if I had ever seen one
Chuckles softly to herself
