"YES IT'S A YES!" Ellie yelled with joy. "Wait, how long is temporarily" She asked confused

"Around an hour or two, I imagine," he answered reaching a hand for her arm until his fingers brushed against it. He concentrated, and within moments the twitching had eased and then ceased altogether. He shrugged again and said, "Hope that helps."

"wow thanks, I wish I could repay the favor somehow," Ellie said looking at her arm shocked it wasn't twitching

"Um… if it's not a problem could you stop the twitching again some other time if it happens again." Ellie asked nervously

Past: was taken away from his mother at a young age by his father because of his magic, which is often considered dangerous and evil; his father took good care of him, but died when Xander was about 13. Where Xander is from, orphanages are sub-par, and he couldn’t bring himself to go to one, so he tried to make a living himself and had to resort to thieving.
Strengths/talents: very high emotional intelligence, painting and charcoal drawing
Flaws: Sensitive, cowardly, gullible, naive

"Oh, I have to go Khian. Thank you again" Ellie says running away.

Xander walked by in his very slouching, slow walk. His hands were in his pockets as he went on. He caught a glimpse of Ellie dashing past several feet in front of him, then looked far to his right, where Khian was. He wondered to himself if she was running from him.

Ellie stops in her tracks noticing Xander. "Oh, Hi Xander." Ellie says cheerfully.

Xander froze up a little.
"You know me?" he asked softly.
He had his hands in his pockets and hair covering one side of his face as he tried to hide the sudden surge of nervousness.

"I know everyone, don't ask how I have my ways," Ellie says with a smile.

"What else do you know about me?" Xander asked, holding a very defensive stance.
Her smile caught him a little off-guard, and while he was pretty sure it was genuine, he still felt strange.

"Um… Your 17. I am too. You really like painting. I've seen your work it's really good and you have powers I don't know what they are though." Ellie said looking at him as if she was scanning him.

Xander scratched the back of his head.
"And I suppose you've got powers as well? Unless you've been spying on me. But I'm quite paranoid, so I don't think that's possible. I would've noticed."

"I'm no stalker. I might have powers but I have always been told I was a failure cause I don't have powers. So, I just believe them." Ellie told him kind of offended he would think she stalked him. She was kind of an open book and she trusted people who she felt like could be trusted.

“That’s kind of a stupid reason to call someone a failure,” he said, “But also… I’m convinced you do have some sort of power. Something to do with prediction perhaps? There’s no way you’d just know that stuff about me.”

"I've gotten used to name people teasing me for being powerless and other petty things," Ellie said looking at her twitchy arm. "I know lots of things about everybody I meet or run into as well. So I bet your right. I thought I just knew these things about people. But I think I might have a prediction power or something." Ellie smiled genuinely at Xander.

"You seem… nice," Xander replied simply, "I don't know, you just give off good vibes, for lack of a better description."
He cast Ellie a slight smile, doing the best he could to be amiable, despite still being slightly shaken up about her knowing so much about him.

"Um…T-Thanks nobody says nice things like that to me. S-So T-Thanks." Ellie says blushing really hard. She seemed to scan over him again. "Oh, God I'm sorry," She said with a gasp.

"You mustn't have met many pleasant people then, have you?" Xander murmured, "What are you even sorry for?"
He saw her blush, then suddenly felt like he'd done something wrong, and he wasn't blushing too, but he kind of hid his face behind his dark green scarf.

"Ya, I guess I haven't met good people," Ellie says with a small giggle. "I read you again I'm sorry for doing it but I-I'm sorry," Ellie said looking him dead in the eyes
