"I swear they are becoming more brave or more stupid" Locux said watching Hinata fall
"Well she must have a plan" Reasoning with himself, Locux jumped too

Hinata willed her wings into being and flapped lazily. She saw Locux jump.
"What the-?!"

"Of freaking course"
Locux fell and he approached the bulding so that his claws could stop his fall

Hinata flew over to Locux.
"Why did you do that?"

"You know, I forgot that this isn´t Uttvos. And with your portals I thought you were gonna open one mid-air"
Locux was still hanging from the building

"That's no fun. Besides, it's good to let my wings out sometimes. They get cramps if I don't use them enough, and that can be bad in a fight." Hinata flapped them lazily again.

"Indeed it can be. So, what's our next stop?"
Locux asked still hangng from the building

"There's one left… a pole needs to be put in the center of the Earth. You need a lift down or something?"

"I can try to climb down, thanks"
Locux begins to climb down letting himself fall and attaching himself back to the building
"So what are these poles for anyway?, Do they serve a purpouse?"

"They set up a barrier that keeps unauthorized portals from opening here."

"Fascinating" Locux managed to climb down to the street
"So that the shadow demons don´t come here"

"Yea. This is one of the only dimensions they haven't reached yet." Hinata folded her wings in.

"Hopefully a frontier can be carved soon between our territories and what they have consumed already"
Locux looked down to the floor and then accomodated the necklace he had

Hinata nodded.
"At least until a frontal assault can be staged."

"When that happens, I'm going to be on the front lines"
Locux tightened his hand

"I'll be leading the charge." The way she said it made it clear she had a personal interest in this.

"They did something to you, didn't they?"
Locux asked curiously in a somber tone

"The leader of the Shadow Demons used to be my boyfriend."

"Huh, not what I was expecting"
Locux was taken aback,"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Kinda. He was leading the army while dating me, and I just recently found out. He had even possessed my husband (It's weird, I'll explain if you want me to) and tried to kill me when I didn't have access to my powers without me realizing it was him. He betrayed me, and I'm going to make him pay."

"Your husband?" Locux was confused

"Yea, it's chaotic. So, before I met SM (The leader of the Shadow Demons in my stories) I built a robotic fox-human robot that I ended up marrying. They both knew, and they both seemed okay with it. Now, I think he was only there to use me, and it boils my blood."

"Still… you have my aid on annihilating these Shadow Demons. They have ruined enough lives as it is"

Hinat nodded.
"Thanks."

"No problem" Locux looked melancolic at the street below him
"Hopefully this is the last war needed to be fought"
