Taran looked up and spotted a familiar form, though that person had changed their hair and eyes. She mock-waved. "Hello, Princess!"

Levira gave a small laugh. "I like you."

Tessa flipped Taran off, though her eyes glinted with amusement. "Ciao, rosa!"

Milly watched from afar not wanting to mess up their happiness.

Miles' posture remained cold and rigid, fingers tapping impatiently. Finally, he spoke. "This is useless." His filtered voice said, coming out of the voice changer.

"Patience, my dear Hunter," Tessa called mockingly. "Isn't that what assassins are good at? Seems you failed lesson number one." She swung her legs so they dangled off the side, resting her elbow on her thigh and propping her head up on her hand. A smirk was hidden beneath the cloth.

"It's not my fault that this 'Monster' couldn't bide their time untill I die." Miles said, the eyeroll not being seen, but was heavy in his voice.

"Such a shame the world doesn't revolve around you." At this point, she was just being a prick for fun.

"Such a shame that I don't care about your opinion." He retorted, the debating distracting him from the itchy wings,

Milly watched this, “So uh, where is the beast exactly?”

Tessa would've stuck her tongue out had the cloth not been in the way. "Too bad I never gave you an opinion. I'm just making a statement." She swung her legs, still up in the metal beams instead of on the ground with the rest.

"Hey, guys, should we start planning on how to fight this… monster? I don't know what to call it, and honestly, don't want to give it a name. Names have power, and we need all the help we can get," said Porta, her mask glinting in the low light.

"Kill it." Tessa said flatly, jumping off the beam and landing neatly in a crouch. She stayed crouched, arms braced on her knees.

"And how? None of us have ever dealt with anything this big before. We don't know it's weaknesses, habits, motivation - nothing. Unless you happen to know?" Porta asked with a mix of fear and curiosity.

"I'm probably bigger," Tessa said plainly. "And deadlier. And we have no idea what this 'monster' is. For all we know, it's just an abnormally large rat."

"Hm, I'd have to see it. I probably have some sort of documentation on it." Miles muttered, pulling out a small handbook and shifting through it.

"If it's a demon, I can pull the ally card for three different species."

"If it's a fallen angel I'd be able to bargain, along with if it's any type of Fae."

"Gods are up my alley as well." Tess pondered over what this threat could possibly be.

"My personal theory is it has something to do with the Medusa of Greek myth. Turning people to stone was it's MO, after all," said Porta, sounding slightly embarrassed. Everyone else seemed so much more experienced and knowledgeable than her. How was she ever going to keep up?

"Meh, I try and stay away from the gods. Most of them are horny idiots." Miles stated, clowsing his book with a snap.

"Truuuuuuue. Except Cin. Cin's cool."

"Cin, haven't heard that name in a while. I usually keep with Gods like." Miles continued to say something that was definitely not legible to human ears.
