pretty much you just talk as your character to help you develop them
i have found this to be quite help full
please use the format where you have your characters name, a : then your characters dialuge
ex.
Ash: hello, my name is Ash *gives a small wave and smiles* please use She/Her pronouns!
spelling mistakes are okay, heck i have more misspelled words in a sentence then i do ones spelled correctly. so in short dont worry about it, same with grammar
Ben: Hello there! [He gives the stranger in the room a short nod of greeting.] I'm Bennadan, but people call me Ben. What brings you here?

Robin:Ah hello, my name is Robin and im actually not quite sure why im here. he gives a kind smile But it probably had something to do with Dax, and knowing him he will be along in a few minutes. he chuckles Dax enjoys to make a…. dramatic entrance, to say the least
Ben: [He laughs.] Is this Dax a friend of yours? He sounds like quite a character. I've been told I'm rather boisterous, so we'd probably get along.
Robin: um i guess you could say that we are friends…. he trails off
Ben: You don't sound too sure about that. [He says this with a half-smile and eyebrows raised, then shrugs.] Ah well, somehow we both ended up here - we may as well make use of the time. Do you play Sixers?
Robin:no whats that- he is cut off by a figure materializing out of Robins shadow
Ben this is Dax, Dax say hi
Dax: Do i have to? the figure asks a bored exspression on his face
Ben: [He startles when he sees Dax and regards him suspiciously, his gaze drifting often to Dax's hands.] It's… good to meet you, Dax. If you don't mind my asking, where did you just come from?
(Ben's job is to catch users of magic, and Dax's sudden appearance struck him as potentially unnatural.)
dax is a demon that shares Robins body//
Dax: My humans shadow, well more specifically the darker subconscious of his soul he says pointing to Robins shadow with a clawed hand
he can also take physical form because him and Robin share a strong bond//
Ben: [His wide eyes and tense shoulders betray his fright, although he tries to quell it with a tight grip on the hilt of his sword.] Uh, Robin, I don't think your 'friend' here is exactly human. [Nor is he an ethereal, he mutters to himself, with his eyes on Dax's face.]
Dax: No dip, sherlock
Robin: Now Dax be nice, remember what we talked about
Ben: [Dax's pop-culture reference goes completely over his head. The demon may as well be speaking Old Ajharakt for all he knows. Still, there is no evidence of magic on his hands - uh, claws - so Ben hardly has enough evidence there to apprehend him.] Well, um, unfortunately, Sixers is a two-player game so I guess that's out. But, uh, Dax, Robin said you had something to do with why he's - with why you're both here.
Dax: just because im a demon doesn't mean i do everything supernatural
Robin: Dax, you are pretty much the embodiment of supernatural
Ben: [Demons don't speak, he thinks, even more confused. Then his stance relaxes as he realises, This is probably a dream. No longer worried about facing off a supernatural beast, Ben has a suggestion spring to mind.] Hey, let's swap stories. What's the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?
Robin: Well considering i run a gang that is mostly just a place for people whos familes disowned them or they just need some support, so theres a bunch of shit that goes down.
Ben: Okay, so for example… ?
Robin: well once i had made cookies and these boys litterly started a nerf war over them
Robin: i had to clean it up, but he shrugs it was fun
Ben: They must have been some good cookies! Wait, so were you saying that you run a place for people without families? Which jurisdiction do you rule? [Since in Ben's culture orphans are taken care of by the nobility, he now assumes that Robin must be a member of that class.]
Robin:what do you mean by "Jurisdiction"? and yes i take in a whole bunch of misfits and train them in self defense and such, the world is dangerous
