I've actually only read one completely - The Lost Tribe of the Sith, but it was good I think! I brought Phasma online a short while ago and I'm gonna read it over summer probably; I want to get more into the sw expanded universe. What about you?

@GoodThingGoing group

I really like Ahsoka, Rebel Rising, Lost Stars, and Leia: Princess of Alderaan. I’m going to read Bloodline, A New Dawn, and Dark Disciple over the summer.

@1want2believe

I have a huge recommendation if you like underrated clone wars era + love stories + want to get into expanded universe stuff: the Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss. There's romance, humor, angst, and amazing writing. I promise that you will get attatched to almost every character because they feel real and relatable, even though they're in a 'galaxy far far away.' I could write paragraphs about how much I love Republic Commando. Just r e a d i t (my favorite characters are Fi and Kal. You'll know why when you read the books bc they are beautiful)

@1want2believe

I've read the Thrawn trilogy, Ahsoka, A New Dawn, Bloodline, Catalyst, and the canon Thrawn book.

I've read republic commando, thrawn trilogy, catalyst, lost stars, Ashoka (didn't like it though), heir to the jedi, and most of the movie novels (rogue one is my favorite)

I tried to read the Thrawn trilogy but the only copies I could find were at my school library and they were super tiny, smelled like a wet dog, and were literally falling apart. I also graduated so there’s also that. I got through book one and part of book two before I had to return them. It’s on my reading list though.

@1want2believe

I really hope there's a sequel, but rumor has it Claudia Gray is doing a Padme novel!!!!!!!!!!!

I would read the heck out of a padme novel

@GoodThingGoing group

Have you seen TCW? In the Unfinished Missions there’s an arc about Anakin and Padme having a falling out due to her going headfirst into action to protect her ex, Senator Rush Clovis.

@1want2believe

Me too. We need her to be more humane, and we need some details about the relationship between Anakin and Padme

For more insight into padme, I recommend the attack of the clones novelization. It has some really good padme-centric chapters

I read Bloodlines and Dark Disciple and HOLY KRIFF!!!!!!
I love everything about Bloodlines, Claudia Gray is my favorite of the SW authors.
I liked Dark Disciple except for that ending. I feel like it was rushed and yes I get that Ventress loves Vos but like….that wasn't really super in-character and I will be forever bitter that a complex antihero/antivillain like Asajj Ventress was killed in a stand alone novel saving a man's life.
