If I could change one thing in the entire literary world, I would make Finnick Odair survive. This is a world with Fred, Tonks, Lupin, and MATTHIAS HELVAR dead, and I would bring Finnick back (because Matthias's death actually gets closure)
Fred's death was the most realistic and the worst. It was perfect and I hurt so much.
Now, I've never cried in a book, but the Rogue One novelization made me come pretty damn close.
So did Nina hearing Matthias's voice in King of Scars.

Meh. Prim's death I got, and since it was mourned, I didn't mind. Fred's death was awful, but TFIOS I didn't care much about. I prefer An Abundance of Katherines myself.
As does John Green, he's very proud of himself.
It's a good book, my favorite of his so far.

Ugh I'm not always a sucker for sad deaths, but especially when I haven't had the best day I definitely cry.
The two worst deaths in THG are probably Lavinia and Darius, since they didn't do anything except for kind of know Katniss and Peeta. The mass killings of Games-related people in Mockingjay always make me sad because it's the very essence of total war, and so many of the people killed were just trying to survive. Did Caesar die? Was he a confirmed death? All of the Avoxes, prep teams, and costumers were killed because they knew people who could maybe be rebels, same with the remaining victors. Idk it always breaks my heart to read that scene.
