Have any of you read Clever Hans?
If not, look it up.
It just about sums up the level of BS the Brothers Grimm were able to get away with.

Clever Hans is a good one but it confused tf out of me as a kid.
Draculas actually a really good book what bit you at? Currently im reading the Two Towers because I figured that im sixteen and thats too long to have gone without reading Tolkein.

(Hi i love the Grimm stories, i have their complete works!)

I loved the Thumb Man

I don’t remember specifically what it was called

PyrrhicViolet

oh you mean the one where the man is tiny sized and he gets lost and is trying to get home? At some point he gets eaten by a cow or something along those lines and almost drowns in hay so he shouts out and the owners think the cow can talk or something like that? I can't remember what it's called

PyrrhicViolet

did you know the little mermaid was based off of a gay love story that Hans Christian Anderson was living?

damn really? goals how did that happen? ik the original version of the story where she dies

In the version I knew she was called Ashputtel, anyone else? I don't know if Cinderella is just the translated version of her name or one adapted for disney

@raven

Oh yea I remember reading the story with that name, but since I'm don't speak English as my native language I wasn't aware of what was she called.
