It's VERY rare that a sequel is better than the first, the only two I can think of as superior sequels are The Last Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back. Also I'd rank Catching Fire as the same as The Hunger Games.

Are y'all on Goodreads?? You can keep track of books you've read, and also leave reviews on books, and make a list of books you want to read. I'm registered as Eva B. even though that's not my name so you should friend me!!

Oh my goodness, just finished book 4 of red queen series! What’d you think? Also, I have throne of glass on my ‘to read someday’ list.

Saving Red is an amazing book written in verse about a teen who befriends a homeless girl with bipolar and schizophrenia and the teen girl also has anxiety and it's real and raw and beautiful and I almost cried!!!!
It's so good!!!

@Moonlark

Land of Stories, Chris Colfer
Princess Academy, Shannon Hale
Keeper of the Lost Cities, Shannon Messenger(25 days until Flashback release!!!!!!!)

The Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland. How do I express in words my love for this series? It's got dragons! And political intrigue! And shipping! And hilarious writing! What more could you want?!
Also, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is absolutely fantastic if you want something that's a mix of The Lord of the Rings and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
