I totally agree that she killed way too many people in the final battle, but I also think she didn't name enough of the dead at the same time? IDK, it's just that she mentions Tonks, Lupin, Fred, Colin, and…possibly Lavender? No teachers were killed? No one else important from Harry's year or Ginny's? No one else from the Order? Really? Just the "fifty others who died".

No, I don't think Lavender died. BUT did you read CC? Who was Malfoy's wife? It wasn't Pansy!! I WAS SO CONFUSED

Ahhh sorry to drop in on this conversation so late, but I really love HP too.
First things first, I’m a Slytherin. My patronus is a snowy owl, and my wand is 12.5” ash wood with a dragon heartstring core and hard flexibility (yes, I’m every bit as stubborn as I sound).
To answer your question, Malfoy’s wife was Astoria Greengrass. She was also (maybe?) a Slytherin. Her older sister, Daphne Greengrass, was in the same year as Draco and the golden trio.

Heyo y'all.
I've gotta go soon, but here's something to ponder.
In a wizard society where they have the ability to fix a boneless arm and such, why the hell did no one ever think to cure Harry of his need for glasses?

Yeah, I saw that somewhere, perhaps it was too risky to do so, like with teeth (cuz remember Hermione got her front teeth fixed at a risk).

wHERE DID YOU FIND THAT WHEN

True… Okay, so if I'm not mistaken, there's something called the Oculus potion, which I think might improve vision, but its effects are only temporary. So I'm not sure if there's really a cure for vision problems, and I think the curability of something with magic probably has to do with whether it's temporary or permanent. Broken bones heal, but poor vision does not typically. Think about other instances of permanent damage in the series: George loses an ear, can't be cured; people who have contracted Lycanthropy can't be cured; Mad-Eye is missing a leg and an eye, and while there are magical substitutes, you can't just put them back on. There are probably a lot more, but I can't list any more at the moment.

Which part? About Astoria? Go digging through Pottermore. There's a lot of stuff that isn't explicitly mentioned in the books.

Also it bugs me that we also never meet any other Gen 2 kids besides Albus and Scorpious. Rose is turned into a stereotypical Slytherin hating snob, which I'm sure Hermione and Ron would never condone. Lily and James are there for lame jokes, and Teddy, Hugo, and every other child is forgotten. Also, how is nobody else at Hogwarts not mentioned as a Gen 2? There are so many wizards and witches, but we don't meet, say, 'Viktor Wood' or 'Poppy Longbottom'? (not confirmed names, just examples)
I just really hated CC as a whole. Delphi doesn't fit in the continuity of the seventh book, Cedric wouldn't turn evil from a minor humiliation, IF RON WAS GOING TO END UP WITH ANYONE BESIDES HERMIONE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LAVENDER, WHO HE DATED BEFORE REALIZING HOW HE FELT ABOUT HERMIONE, NOT PARVATI!!

I AGREE FULLY WIth tHIS I HATED CC WITH A PASSION, AND STILL DO BECAUSE OF THIS!

the only reason i like it is because i ship the hell out of Albus and Scorpius.

@GoodThingGoing group

Also, no way would 3 of the 4 Weasley Potter kids be Gryffindor! Just because they're Weasley Potters doesn't mean they're automatically Gryffindor!!

Deleted user

Well, Albus was Slytherin, I think that's what Rowling wanted to prove, but did it badly.

@Becfromthedead group

But also Harry uncharacteristically seemed to have a problem with it, and just his son in general. Yes, I kind of hate on Harry sometimes (because come on, he's the main character), but I think he's a pretty nice guy.
Also, any Slytherins with a Gryffindor best friend or Gryffindors with a Slytherin best friend on here? If you've experienced this relationship irl, you know the two houses are literally partners in crime and it's the greatest thing.

i'm a Ravenclaw with um

i don't know i don't have friends.
