Welcome folks… to the Challenge Chasm!
Not quite the alliteration I had hoped for but it still looks sort of aesthetically pleasing—
Anyway, welcome! This will be sort of a fun challenge corner for artists (hence the name). I’m mainly referencing Drawfee (and if you haven’t heard of them, I highly recommend checking them out on YouTube). It’s a talented group of artists who do some fun challenges like turning muppets into Greek gods, drawing modern anime in gritty American cartoon styles, and even drawing the Doom guy as Isabelle from Animal Crossing. It’s a wild ride— so why not recreate it here? The lot of you are artists, so I figured it’d be fun :)
So let your imagination run wild, folks! I figured we could probably give out a topic, and then have replies relating to that. Ie; drawing animal crossing oc’s, giving someone a style and character to draw in that style, drawing fruits as people (just an idea, hah).
Those are the basics! So, fellow artists, welcome to the Challenge Chasm. Have fun, make stuff, and whatever you do… don’t try to crawl back out. You’re now stuck in creation hell :D

(The main hosts. Soft boy Nathan, sarcastic boy Jacob, monster mom Julia, and baby Karina are the main team atm, but there’s also dunkle (naddpod joke) Caldwell who originally co-founded with Nathan. Many names to remember but the group is wonderful lol)

And of course, like @Katastrophe said, these challenges will be more for fun than skill. This whole concept (minus the inspiration from Drawfee) stemmed from my own artistic doubt, and hopefully these design challenges help with finding a permanent art style/discovering different styles. At least, that’s my goal :) But then again, it’s totally ok to focus just on having fun, rather than getting better
