First off, so sorry everyone for the server issues that have been slowing down the site the past few days. In the name of transparency, I just wanted to keep everyone updated on the status of the servers:

We currently have around 85% uptime over the past 3 days, and obviously that's way less ideal than our goal of 100%.

I've been working around the clock to ensure the servers stay up, fighting two separate issues: an issue limiting how many simultaneous people can access the database at one time (which I believe is now fixed), as well as an issue where some page loads are getting "stuck", which time out for the person loading the page and also limit how many other people can simultaneously load pages at the same time (because that server stops serving pages until the page times out).
I'll be performing more maintenance on the servers today and, again, don't expect any downright downtime while I work on them. I am working both with our hosting provider to address the server issues, as well as with a friend who has a lot of experience in scaling websites to help diagnose what could be causing some pages to get "stuck".
Sorry again for the inconvenience, everyone. I actually have a few exciting features I want to release, but addressing the server issues has taken priority. I hope to have page loads back to buttery smoothness and no crashes soon, and then I hope to have some exciting news to share shortly after that.
