Lord Viceroy Malachi, 57, dark brown and grey hair, blue eyes, a round face with a very Roman nose. He is descended from a long line of military Generals from Drake's Landing. Currently, he is training his men, sending out spies, and readying the fleet for sail to Dorrea and Pallavicini. He has the superior fleet, but Dorrea has great cannons on the cliffs that can sink any ship near the harbor there. There are 300 ships in his navy, 200 at Drake's landing and 100 at Whiteport. He'll have to sacrifice some of his fleets at Dorrea to get his men to Pallavicini. If he can take this city, the wealth of Navin belongs to Uttara, and Queen Sabiya's kingdom will be crippled. The alliance with Dakshin and Branna's marriage to Prince Tirvan is crucial. Dakshin needs to use their army to invade from the east and Navin will be split between the victorious. Lord Viceroy Malachi's next younger brother, Darroch,  is Governor of Drake's Landing, and his youngest brother, Flynn, is Fleet Commander of Whiteport. His sister, Etain, is the middle child, and she is married to the Lord Markom of Nizina.
