The sun’s coming up, but he doesn’t know where he is, or what prevents him from getting up. He can’t open his eyes nor identify the noises and voices coming from outside. In his drowsiness, he tries to thread one memory to another, putting together a mosaic where just one constant seems to anchor him to reality: his relationship with Elisa and Tim. With an accurate and sharp prose, Tim follows the vulnerability of a being on the edge of consciousness, battling himself and the world around him. Almost like a metaphor of our present, the tale is built and rebuilt, over and over, until the reader stands before the abyss of what is true and of the ultimate concept of identity.
