Isa at Home

Isa steps back into the forest, and collapses back onto the forest floor. Olate catches him before Isa falls, and grasps him tight. "Are you okay Isa?" Isa coughs up blood, and whispers, "I'm.. fine dad." He begins to cry. "What's wrong with me? I don't want to die! They were so close... why did they go away?!"

"Shhh, it's all right Isa. Its okay, I'm going to take care of you." Olate carries Isa to his hut, and lays him down on a bed. Isa curls up into a ball, as Olate strokes his hair. "Everything will be alright, I promise." Isa doesn't answer, but just cries in pain. "Damn it..." Olate carefully puts bandages over his wounds, and asks, "What caused it this time?" Isa sighs. "A Fire Genasi stabbed me... We were doing a robbery... then she stabbed me in the back..." Olate flopped a blanket over him. "Its okay now. Rest for a while." As Isa slept, Olate sat by him, watching him, and wondering what to do next.

Isa wakes up, and looks around. He sees a pink-haired woman sitting beside him. He rolls back over. "Hey Syndra. Wassup sis." SYndra nervously chuckled. "Hey Isa." "You're here again?"

Syndra nodded. "Yes. Are you okay?" Isa shook his head, and winced. "Nope... Hurts like hell..... How have you been?" Syndra taps her fingers on her book. "I've been good. The forest has been pretty quiet so far, though better then what you've been going through."
