1. Drystan Hathrensair: A rebel Aideen, Amara, and Silas rescue in the labor camp. Constantly falls into conflict with Alexandra. A little brash, a little cocky, but he's also very smart and quick. 

2. Cressida Ethari: Lord's daughter. Helps Aideen escape the dungeon. Disapproves of her father's actions, and wants to help bring him down. 

3. Ginevra Hathrensair: Drystan's younger sister. Broke her promise to Drystan that she would not join the rebellion and put herself in danger. Joins after he's captured, and quickly prooves herself useful. 

4. Ivaylo-A familiar who was once bonded with a sorceress named Lyra. Unfortunately, Lyra was killed, and Ivaylo was left alone. 

5. Aria-Another familiar who's bond sharer was killed. She's a lioness, and ends dying, making Amara a shifter.
