PRINCEs TV TROPES

PRINCE CARTERs TV TROPES

Agent Peacock: A preening, flamboyant pretty boy, but can kick ass in and out of any brawl, despite his relatively small size.

Action Survivor: For the most part. He's not a competent fighter (even though he always looks for an opportunity to engage in a fight), but has some fine shooting skills, not to mention Deus ex Machina levels of luck.

Big Brother Instinct: As Cloudcuckoolander and bumbling as he may be, do not mess with Dolores.

Curb-Stomp Cushion: Is clearly outclassed as a fighter by almost everyone he faces, but he always somehow manages to get a few hits in, surprising both him and the person ready to kick his ass. In the end, though, his boyfriend needs to give him a hand.

Plucky Comic Relief: A frequent source of humour who likes to get dangerous.

Indy Ploy: Almost all of his plans are done impromptu or with very little analysis. Most of them include him taking off his clothes to pick a fight with someone that clearly outmatches him.

Strategy, Schmategy: Most of the time Prince's only 'strategy' is to go into a situation, take his shirt off and then attack whatever is bothering him, if that fails, he just tries to gun his problems away, relying on Jesse, in particular, to find an alternative when they're facing a supernatural foe who can't be killed by conventional means.

Tall, Dark, and Snarky: He's quite attractive and has a good deal of sarcasm and dry wit to his character, and makes jokes at several people such as (and mostly) his lover Jesse. He's also quite big at a solid six foot three.

Named After Somebody Famous: His name is a play on the name of Vince Carter but adding Prince as his given name instead.

Shirtless Scene: So much so that it seems strange to see him fully dressed.

Accidental Pervert: He subconsciously takes off his clothes on a semi-regular basis, which results in him walking around in public without a shirt, in his underwear, or without any clothes at all.

Battle Strip: He often loses his shirt for one reason or another before picking a fight with anybody, how much skin he is showing basically shows how serious he considers the fight.

Macho Camp: Comes across as this. He's a big, decently muscular man, but his personality and behaviour are as Campy as it gets.

Hunk: He's quite muscular, has a deep voice, and is pretty attractive to look at.

Hot-Blooded: Goes hand-in-hand with his hammy nature. Armstrong is overly-enthusiastic about everything, especially taking his clothes off to do something.

Red Oni, Blue Oni: The red to Jesse's blue because he is so much more boisterous and expressive.

Running Gag: He will take any opportunity to take his shirt off. The usual excuse is to pick a fight with someone bothering him.

Military Brat: His father and grandfather were Colonel and Major, while his mother was a retired marine.

Bicep-Polishing Gesture: He will take any excuse/opportunity/reason to rip off his shirt and flex.
