I’m bored, and still trying to rip myself out of a deep hole of Writer’s Block, so yeah. Another rp, even though this is probably a very bad idea for me. I have no idea what I want to do or what character I want to use, my brain is blanking.
Though, despite my blank brain, I will say this~ I generally write High Fantasy, occasionally Sci-Fi (I have very few sci-fi characters, otherwise I’d write more of it). So yeah.

• I may ask for a writing sample, but I don’t often do this.

(I normally do dark and messed up. . . And I love destroying my characters lives— and I’m a sucker for supernatural. Other than that, I don’t have much. We could just, not have a plot and just truck along making up random stuff, or you could give me 10-60 min to come up with a plot)
(Lol, same. I write a lot of angst, even though half the time I just want fluff, but it keeps coming out as angst, lmao! Shrug. Either way. I just usually like having a plot, or at least something to go off of, because it helps me decide which of my many, many characters to use, lol. Indecisiveness is a curse of mine)
(Oh, now that I finally remembered, lmao, do you want to use character templates? I usually do, at least for my more developed characters, but I’m casual either way)

(I’m not big on OP, but I will usually accept really powerful characters if them using that strong power gives them a major lash back. I.e. A can kill with a snap of their fingers, but in doing so would make them pass out for x amount of time. And they can only kill so many people at once.)

(Yeah, I totally get that. I have a couple overpowered characters, but I stopped using them in rps because it just seemed to get too monotonous after a while)
(Alrighty. So… that leaves only a couple options that would fit a war plot without making too many changes. And, also, 90% of the races I have are my own creation, so yeah. I’ll try my best to explain things and avoid confusing you, but I’m honestly notorious for doing that despite not wanting to)
(Option 1: Ákle-Ikli De’Tearion, a former warlord of the insectile race called Goliathans, who’s gone a bit feral after his sister died and beloved rejected him. He’s renown for his intellect, but he’s got severe PTSD and he would much rather be a hermit than a leader, despite being a brilliant commander. He’s also half-dead from self-inflicted starvation. [he probably doesn’t truly fit the war plot, unless I made him younger, but he could get sucked back in and probably go buckshit crazy in the process, lol. He’s also one of my most developed OCs])
(Option 2: Myahil, first of the insectile Rhinacules race and leader of them. He’s delusional, and unknowingly a seer, but he’s best known for his military tactics and prowess. He had made a divine pact with his god to save his Clan, but it came at the cost of his sanity, and left him cursed to very slowly die from an incurable poison. [He’s actually based in the same setting as De’Tearion, just a lot earlier in the timeline. I haven’t rped with him a lot, so yeah])
(Hm. . . I was thinking somewhat new OC’s who are perfectly amazing and wholesome people and then get messed up because of the war. If that makes any sense? And/or that the two, min and yours, become friends, but they’re on separate sides of the war)
(I’ll probably be using my new guy Avdey [Last Name I Cant Spell], he’s just a vampire- XD)
(Also, both De’Tearion and Myahil have magical abilities. De’Tearion’s is more offense/defense type stuff, but it exhausts him. Myahil’s is more earth magic, and is more useful for building or sculpting than attacking. Though, Myahil also has a couple other abilities, but he’s either unaware of them (his seer abilities) or it’s involuntary (a weak force field that appears around him when he’s being attacked. They are also both shapeshifters [into a giant bug], but this is technically not magic, it’s just part of what they are)
(Ah, okay. My bad, lmao! I honestly have had a lot of trouble coming up with new characters lately, so hence why I use my OCs. But, I get where you’re going now. Give me a sec and I’ll see if I have some other options)
(It’s perfectly fine. I usually find someone, and then ‘while them clean’ meaning I take away what’s happened in their past, keeping personality, likes, dislikes and such)
(Huh, I never thought of that before. Though, that probably wouldn’t work with De’Tearion and Myahil, lmao! Their past has heavy effects on their personalities)

(Yup, and a good one actually, lol. I’ll have to keep it in mind, if I can find a character that isn’t so reliant on their backstory, lol)
(Well, since my brain is deciding to be stupid, lol, I’ll just throw out some random characters that could possibly fit)
(The iconic Ōn’nyosh. He’s a wandering reptilian jester, and a perverted asshole, but he generally stays outside of wars, or indirectly influences it. [Though, his race is usually too busy doing their own things to care about going to war])
(Then, Merida, a sassy female vampire with a sort of gothic style. Canonically, she’s actually Ōn’nyosh’s longest girlfriend, and eventually one of his wives, lol. I don’t have much on her though, she’s mostly a blank character except for her time with Ōn’nyosh [which could cause problems for me. 50/50 shot])
(Lucky Jack, he’s a Halfling merchant/con-artist with extreme luck. A very charming guy, but it’s very rare for him not to con someone. [It’s been a while since I’ve used him in an rp])
(Phalakros, a half-breed Akhrethian [one of my races. They’re basically draconic shapeshifters]. He’s a very timid and good-hearted individual, but after being possessed, and exorcised, he has a severe twitch and involuntary abilities. He also has an overpowered Alter-Ego that frightens him and feeds off his fear)
(Hmm. . . How about Merida? The one race I’m familiar enough with that I wont have too many questions)
(Lol. Okay, but like I said, I basically have nothing on her, and that can kill an rp for me depending on the situation. Hopefully it doesn’t for this one)
(Also, to clarify just in case, Lucky Jack is a Halfling from DnD/Pathfinder. So, his race is one of the few I didn’t make, lol. But, anyway)

(Normally, what I do is I just take the person. And take out as much history as possible, such as if I had a character who was with another of my characters who’s not in the RP, I’ll take that pout, or make it less significant. Most of the time I change their history to Mach that of what is going on in the world. Then, I build up with the RP, using the interactions that happen and personality to add to the character and plot. Idk if I’m respecting myself in that, or if it’s even helpful)
(Also, here’s my idea. When I write about vampires, they have a clan that they are a part of, Avdey Vorozheykina (Fouind his name) Is heir to the Vorozheykina Clan. Maybe their two Clans (Pretty much families) are warring to be the strongest Clan?)
(Makes sense. I actually somewhat avoid changing too much backstory of my characters. Mostly because many of my characters rely heavily on their backstory to explain why they do this or that. But, minor events I’m more willing to take out or change. It just depends on the character, and also on how versatile they are [like Ōn’nyosh vs. De’Tearion. Ōn’nyosh is extremely versatile and can basically fit in any story, with or without modifying his backstory, whereas De’Tearion is very specific and difficult to modify])
(Oh, how about that, lol. Merida’s homeworld has the same thing. There’s vampire clans that are ‘recognized and accepted’ by the particular region they’re in, and then there’s rogues that don’t have a clan and are frowned upon. So, that actually works out. I’m honestly still working on all the clans and their names, but I think I’ll go with Merida as being from the Forest Blood Clan. [I like the name of your vampire clan better than mine, lmao!])
