forum What Would You Have in Your Cottagecore World?

Anything from Cute coffeeshops, and bakeries, to flower fields and fluffy cows! What would your ideal cottagecore world have? (Pictures welcomed!)

Ooh:

• Blue shingles on cottage roof
• Fireplaces, if climate crisis doesn't necessarily mean warming in that area
• Earth ovens (they're basically clay caves, you can put stuff in them to cook)
• hearth toasters, it's basically an iron napkin-holder except instead of napkins you put a slice of bread in it and leave it beside the fireplace until the side facing the fire gets toasted)
• bicycle-powered washing machines (thank you Remya Jose)
• bicycles
• water pump or aqueduct nearby… because water-wells scare me
• copper bath tub and soap
• somewhere to easily and efficiently dispose of bath water, laundry water, and other waste management that won't be an environment and health hazard
• so many linen smocks
• buckets and that wooden stick thing to help carry them
• a gazebo or bandstand in a clearing in the woods or meadow
• woods or meadows
• a greenhouse or glasshouse or whatever it's called, hothouse
• basil in the hothouse
• something to help me get the pine cones out of the pine trees and the pine nuts out of the pine cones
• brick paved streets
• horse-drawn wagon thing that's like if a carriage was more like an acoustic pickup truck

Mushshroom

my love I agree wholeheartedly

mushroom roof on little round house, the main room and bedroom are separated by a wall and a little flap of cream-colored fabric with a mushroom pattern in the doorway

• lots of little jars of stuff, possibly drugs
• i host quilting parties sometimes
• a book of mushroom types and recipes for the edible ones
• cute aprons
• flowy blouses
• flower crowns and floppy sunhats
• the backyard is a meadow
• dried flowers in vases all over
