"This life suits me better anyway. And now I have you."

"Suits you?" the hero scoffed, but at the villain's tone, she shivered and looked away. The greater good, she reminded herself desperately. That's what this is all for. I'm doing it for the greater good of the people.

"Yes, it suits me. What else would my powers be good for? I mean, I could use it to help, but then I would just be another tool for society to use at their leisure."

"You'd be a tool?" the hero questioned sharply. "That's like saying I…" She trailed off quickly at the realization, and her mouth hung slightly agape.

"You understand my point now? We are but tools for society to use as it pleases." The villain grinned, walking over and kneeling in front of the hero.

"I am not a tool!" the hero snaps, but she turned her head down and to the side, refusing to meet the villain's gaze. The greater good. The promise of the greater good.

"Are you so sure of that as to try and leave this place and 'help' more?" the villain asks, cupping a hand against the hero's cheek. The villain met her eyes and gave her a solemn look, letting her see the truth of their words. "You would only be a tool for the city if you remained a hero. Whereas if you were to stay with me, you would be an equal. A fighter more worthy of recognition than restraint."

The hero looked deeply into the villain's eyes, searching them thoroughly. "I am not a tool," she repeated quietly, but just as snappy. Quickly, she looked away again, attempting to hide the conflict behind her gaze.

My character will be the hero, and I need my villain… 😏

This will be an action/romance rp where the hero falls for the villain and turns to the "dark" side. It will originally start from the hero giving herself up for the city's safety, and then they have this conversation, more or less. My hero will be a female like she is above, and I'm comfortable with a gxg or a gxb, whatever floats your boat!

Here's a template, for her tho

Name: Farah Dowling
Nicknames/Aliases: Fae
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Her ash blonde hair is usually in a high ponytail, a braid, or a low bun with pieces hanging loose to frame her face, and her dark brown eyes turn silver/blue when she uses her powers. She has a tattoo on her index finger of a line circling above her knuckle and three dots closer to her fingertips. Her usual outfits consist of a button-up blouse and dressy-casual pants. She also has a British accent.
Personality: She comes off as tough and has a hard outer shell. Kind of has trust issues, but when you get past it, she's a total softie. Even though she has trust issues, if you earn her trust, she's loyal to a fault. She also can be reckless and headstrong in situations where she needs to be patient.
Powers: Empathic perception, pain manipulation, telekinesis, memory scanning/sharing, and telepathic connection

(I love Fae!)

Name: Viktoria “Noire” Caligari
Nicknames/Aliases: mainly known as Noire Grove; ‘Tori’ is a nickname reserved for very special people

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Lesbian

Appearance: Standing at almost 5’4”, Noire is small yet as deadly as any other villain. She has a lean muscular build helpful in close combat, dyed red wavy hair informally cropped at the nape of her neck and brown bangs. An inch long scar slices through the left corner of her lips. Her usual outfit is composed with several layers, beginning with a stained T-shirt, brown overalls, a dark bandanna tied around her neck, and finally an olive green aviator jacket.

Personality: Upon first impression Noire is very charming and articulate, personable and excelling at one-on-one meetings and public speaking. She can control those interactions. Although when it comes to unexpected conversations she appears less composed, flighty, even unpredictable. Deep down she is driven by the desire to feel connected with a small community of people she knows won’t use her as a tool. Unable to find that in the moment, her frustration leads to destruction.

Powers: manipulating light and solidifying the energy into objects such as blades; magnifying light to start fires; it takes a lot of energy to create much light in a pitch black space, the most Noire was really do is hold a small ball of light in order to see; at night her eyes glint in the darkness akin to an animal’s, reflecting more light and thus seeing easier than the average human

(Yes! Let's do it!)

Farah awoke with a pounding in her head. She knew she'd come here willingly – of that she had no doubt. But her racing heart and migrane-like pain vibrating her skull made it difficult to remember what exactly had happened before she'd blacked out. What she knew now was that she was sitting in the middle of what appeared to be the main floor of an abandoned warehouse, and she was bound to a folding chair by her wrists and ankles. There was also a gag in her mouth that tasted horrid, so she kept her mouth shut. A sudden feeling tickled the side of her face, and she recognized the scent of blood. She was bleeding from her temple – and now the headache made sense. Okay, if I'm here, Noire can't be far behind me. She's the one I'm turning myself in to anyway. I have to protect the city.

Indeed, Noire wasn’t far behind at all. She’d stayed propped against the warehouse door behind Farah for some time, mentally rehearsing, while a cold damp cloth hung from her hand. Impatient, Noire approached to check on her prisoner with heavy boot-clad steps signaling her arrival. She pressed the cloth against Farrah’s wound. “I told Odon not to hit so hard to damage your pretty face,” Noire snickered under her breath, “but alas, can’t control them all can you? They do what they want, yeah.”

Farah stiffened, hearing the footsteps approaching. Her body and head didn't move, though. It was her eyes that tracked Noire's movements. She glared at the girl, even as she pressed the cloth to her wound. Unable to speak from the gag in her mouth, she tilted her head away from Noire and her touch.

Noire squinted in focus while she dabbed at Farah’s head. She insisted on a few more pokes even as her touch was obviously unwanted, before the soiled rag fell abandoned to the floor. “That’s better. Now to have a proper conversation, hm?” Noire pulled down the gag. She positioned herself in front of Farah, standing, self-satisfied with the artificial height difference. A smug grin plastered on her face. It looked eerily close to a smirk considering her scar.

Farah's fierce glare didn't fade in the slightest. In fact, it only worsened. She hated that she had to look up at Noire to speak to her, automatically putting her in a submissive position, but Farah would take what she could get now. With her gag removed, she began to speak.

"I came here… on my own terms… to surrender myself for the good of the city… and your men ambushed me." She let the venom she felt for her opponent drip from her lips, her British accent tinting her words to sound elegant in an odd, threatening way. "What the hell?"

@ladybug_academia group

The unaffected corner of Noire’s lip twitched. Whatever emotion was behind that subtle reaction, whatever calculations behind her eyes, she didn’t have the expertise to deny its existence. So she covered the nervousness with a breathy laugh.
Of course Farah would be angry; Noire expected it. She just didn’t like it. “For the good of the city,” she echoed, turning her gaze down to casually examine the dirt under her fingernails. “And you had your own terms, I had mine. Is that not fair?”

@emilyevewrites group

Farah scoffed quietly. "And what are your terms?" she inquired, tilting her head and looking up at Noire with anger, but also a touch of intrigue. "Do enlighten me. You know mine… I will surrender myself for the good of the city so your attacks will stop. Leave the people alone. It is all that I am asking. One life for thousands. That is my offer. Please take it. You're terrorized these citizens long enough for no reason."

@ladybug_academia group

Noire lifted her gaze from her nails to Farah again. “My terms are irrelevant now—“ she brushed her hand through the air as if the matter of her particulars were something visible to erase—“and so are yours. Besides that, I solemnly promise not to make casual attacks on your beloved citizens.” For the time being. Now that Farah was here, she needed to build trust and play her hand with care.

“This life suits me well whether I’m setting fires or not. And now, I have you.” Noire took a step closer to stand over her captive, cradling her chin with a gentle grip.

@emilyevewrites group

"This life suits you?" Farah asked incredulously, but at the Noire's tone, she shivered and looked away quickly. The way the woman had said "you" was unsettling… The greater good, she reminded herself desperately. That's what this is all for. I'm doing it for the greater good of the people. She jerked her head away from the touch again, giving her another reason to look away from Noire's piercing gaze.

@ladybug_academia group

“Yes, it suits me. What else could my powers be for?” She released Farah’s chin, languidly, letting one finger drag against her skin for a little too long. “I mean…” From her hand—bathed in a ray of sunlight peeking through a window—a dagger materialized. An aureate, shimmering blade molded expertly for Noire’s hand. “…I could use them to help, but then I would just be another tool for society to use at their leisure.“ Noire turned the dagger one way, then the other, as if appraising its quality.

Farah stiffened at Noire's fingers lingered on her skin, and she inhaled sharply when the contact was finally lost. At the sight of the dagger, her eyes widened. It was beautiful and elegant, but in a deadly way. She didn't think Noire would… do anything with it. But she wouldn't put it past her. "You'd be a tool?" Farah questioned sharply at Noire's accusation. "That's like saying I…" She trailed off quickly at the realization, and her mouth hung slightly agape. No…
