When the hero’s kid gets captured by the villain for bargaining purposes, you’d think the hero would do anything to get them back, right? Wrong. The hero is self centered and lazy and above all else a coward, and when they don’t come for the kid, the villain steps up to be the parent and wipe that smug look off of the hero’s face.

Rules are to keep this R-Rated or under. So like nothing that would count as “explicit content” otherwise anything goes. And have fun!!

(Thanks for calling my idea good lol, I came up with this about three minutes ago and I’m super sleep deprived so I’m flattered!)

(Uh okay, I’d say characters? How old should the kid be since I’m playing the villain? I want to know what to expect lol.)

@Fraust

(I figured probably teens? I could always use my twins since they kind of have powers (werewolves) and their parents would be pretty keen on getting rid of them aha)

(Hmm, what other characters do you have then? I’d like to go over options lol.)

@Fraust

(Here's some of my characters! Copy pasted from elsewhere obviously I can't type that fast lol. I can also make somebody new, and I'm pretty flexible on a lot of details with these ones) (kind of leaning towards possibly using Lumi? I could always make him human with powers rather than neko)

Nathaniel Windsor (male, he/him, angel, homosexual)
I can vary his age for just about anything lol, can be a child for found family (I do love found family), teenager for school aus or also found family or romance or something idk, or adult for… romance probably? They're all good for different things (all three are seen below, first image with 21 and 8, and second image with 16)
As for romance he tends to prefer guys who are taller than him (not difficult since he's 5'4) and who can make him feel safe

Finn and Teagan Hemming (twin males, he/him, werewolves, bisexual)
Finn (left) and Teagan (right) are both idiots and I love them. They fight pretty much constantly, as people and wolves (hence the scars) but they do still care a lot about each other. Finn was attacked and bitten at a young age, and inevitably turned Teagan shortly after.

Lumine (Lumi) Lemongrass (demiboy, he/they, neko, homosexual)
Lumi is just a little guy 🥺 except catboy. They act a lot like a cat most of the time, being standoffish with people he doesn't really know and demanding of attention once he likes someone. Depending on the age we roleplay they would either be on the streets or in a very cheap apartment.

Faerynn (Rynn) Verdine (nonbinary, they/them, unicorn satyr, abrosexual)
Rynn doesn't know what gender is but they will politely decline. They're typically scared of people, but they're also very naive and gullible. They lost their family when they were young and have wandered ever since

Nich Brooks (male, he/him, kitsune? Fox neko?, pansexual)
Nich grew up in an active war zone and lost his lower legs to a landmine when he was a kid. Even so, he's a pretty fun guy to be around and he's very resourceful and helpful, always looking for something interesting to do or someone to assist.

Aiki and Eiji Akaume (Aiki (right): Demiboy, he/they, foxboy, homosexual. Eiji (left): Male, he/him, foxboy, pansexual)
They're kind of similar to Finn and Teagan tbh but they're still fun and I like them 👍

Finn Carmelo (yes, another Finn) (trans male, he/him, human, bisexual)
Finn is very friendly and a bit nervous by nature. He's definitely a people pleaser aha. Typically he's some kind of healer/mage role but I'm flexible. He's usually about 19 years old and is the only one of my characters to have a good relationship with his parents.
(Picrew, not my art. The others are my art.)

(Actually, I really like Finn and Teagan! Could we use them, and in turn could I use two characters?)

Deleted user

(Cool! Now plot. When do we wanna start? When your characters get kidnapped by my villains or something? And what time period/genre is this? Futuristic? Medieval fantasy? Modern superheroes? I can do whatever.)

@Fraust

(Uhhh usually modern is easiest for me, and I either starting with them being kidnapped or the fight right before they get kidnapped if you want there to be a fight would work ^^ I'm at work now so my replies may be a little sporadic, so if you want to go ahead and start, feel free /gen)

Doctor Clarissa Marigold and Professor Felix Dextris were two of a kind, both loyal to each other through and through. They were intelligent, devoted to their goals, and willing to sacrifice anything but each other to get what they wanted. However, they also abided by morals. Standards. Felix had always been the type to go wild, but Claire reigned him in to keep him going too far. And Clarissa was principled, kind for a villain, and always made sense of Felix’s world.

They had both been thrown out by their respective families for… reasons. Living on the street sucked, but they found each other and managed. The villainy came later. They were angry with the world, and wanted to make it better. Unfortunately, so-called “heroes” tried to rise up against them. And a pair of heroes just so happened to have offspring to use against them.

Claire hated using innocents, but Felix assured her that they wouldn’t be harmed. Never, ever harmed, for harming children was the last thing either of them would do. Unfortunately, nobody came for the kids. Days passed, then weeks, then months. Eventually, Felix got fed up. The two villains gave the children a suite of rooms in their castle, a garden, a room filled with things to do and safety as well. Safety from harm, from damage, from strife. Well, from strife as far as a pair of constantly fighting twins could be kept from.

But in Felix’s and Clarissa’s room one night, Clarissa was tired. She scrolled through her tablet screens, tapping them furiously. “How come these kids haven’t been rescued yet? It’s been eight months and all we’ve done is sit here, trying to keep sane and plan through other schemes.” she grumbled, rubbing the bridge of her nose where her glasses lay. She put her hands in her dark, curly hair that lay underneath a silk nightcap and groaned.

“I’ve been saying the same thing! It’s like their family doesn’t even care about them!” Felix growled, green eyes scanning the room furiously. Their bedroom was across the hall from the kids’, and Clarissa expected them to be in soon to hear a bedtime story like she’d promised to tell them nightly despite the two being far too old in her mind to need such comforting. Not like she’d say it out loud, of course, she’d never disappoint. Felix’s eye twitched. He was angry, but never with the two kids. Just with their parents, who had left them to presumably rot despite Felix and Claire not letting any rotting happen under their watch.

“Look, I know I’ve been hopeful but…do these heroes even care? I mean, obviously they’re the good guys here, we’re just a couple of assholes who took being the bad guy too far. But I can’t help but wonder…” Claire murmured.

(Your post doesn’t have to be as long as this! I’m just getting all my thoughts out lol.)

@Fraust

(I'll go ahead and say the twins are about 12 here aha)

From the beginning, Finn and Teagan had known their parents wouldn't come for them. They tried to tell their captors, but they seemed optimistic for whatever reason. They were sure that their parents were glad for an excuse to rid themselves of their sons, even.

When the two of them were very young, everything was fine, but they scarcely remembered their early years. They were all happy; an ordinary family, but everything went downhill after Finn was bitten. It was only a matter of time before he turned his twin as well, especially with how much they roughoused with each other. After that was when the neglect and disdain really started.

They knew their parents were afraid of them. They always kept Finn and Teagan at arm's length to avoid being bitten themselves. They hated their sons for what they had become, even though it wasn't their fault. They spent less and less time at home, and they couldn't care less where their sons were as long as they weren't near them. So, Finn and Teagan spent a lot of time out in the open despite everyone knowing whose kids they were. They were bound to get kidnapped at some point, but they knew that their parents would never come.

Finn had spent the first few months crying and generally distressed because he knew that he and Teagan were stuck here with these villains, especially since they didn't know what would be done to them. Experiments were certainly something they worried about. Teagan spent that time being agitated and stressed as well, and extremely protective of his brother. He guarded Finn and growled any time Clarissa or Felix entered the room to give them something to eat.

They seemed more at ease once they were sure that they weren't going to be harmed, and once they were at peace with the fact that their parents weren't going to come get them. Finn had even grown pretty fond of their captors, as had Teagan, although it took him a little longer to come around. As they got more comfortable, their personalities showed more. Both seemed pretty touch starved and anxious for any kind of approval from an adult, which they evidently hadn't received in years.

As Clarissa had expected, the two of them soon peeked their heads around the edge of the door, looking into the room to see if she and Felix were busy. The twins were identical, technically, but were easily distinguishable by their different scars. Finn's large facial scar certainly made him easy to identify. However, when they were in their wolf forms, they were nearly impossible to tell apart.
