ahhh okie
What ages are you thinking? I think Emilia is in her early-mid twenties, but it's flexible lol
And maybe they meet at a crafts fair? He's selling his clothes and she's selling her baked goods and drawings and their right next to each other

@Fraust

God, these people are so loud… Axis looked around a bit as he organized his handmade clothes by size, color, and fabric. Once it was set up, he sat down and started sewing a button onto a waistcoat he'd brought with him to work on. He hated to sit idly for too long, so he figured that he might as well work on more clothes. He could smell something sweet from the shop beside him and assumed that someone was selling baked goods.

The fair hadn't been allowed to set up for some time, but already Emilia was setting out many different kinds of foods. Fresh rolls, cakes, pastries, most anything you could expect to find in a shop like this. There were more complicated dishes too, puff pastries and cream puffs, macaroons and macrons both. She was also setting out framed pictures, the price tags placed neatly in the lower corners. The woman hummed to herself, an apron over her dress and hair pulled back. Her bare feet took her about the shop, and she stepped in front for a moment to arrange flowers to liven up the place.

Axis adjusted his hat a bit as he continued sewing, soon finishing up with the waistcoat and hanging it up in its proper place. He then grabbed some yarn so he could begin knitting a new sweater. Soon, a few people began wandering up to his stall to purchase clothing. He didn't make much small talk, but his business was pretty good.

Emilia hummed softly. As people began to stream in, she smiled brightly for them, offering her goods. She sold easily, the food and art leaving the store with almost every person. The woman grinned, setting her hat on a peg. She glanced around at the other stalls- everyone seemed to be doing good, and it was a wonderful sight to her. During one of the lulls, she wondered a bit, looking at the goods of a shop next to hers. She felt the fabric of one of the jackets, a soft smile on her face.

Axis glanced over at Emilia, humming softly to himself. "Good afternoon, ma'am. Looking for anything in particular?" He asked softly, adjusting his glasses so that he could see her better. "I do commissions as well, so if you don't see anything you like, I can always make something custom for you…"

"No," Emilia said, looking up when she was adressed. "Nothing in particular. I work the stall next to yours, and I have a bit of a break right now." Emilia offered a small smile, looking back to the jacket.
"This i very fine workmanship," she complimented.

@Fraust

"Thank you." Axis turned his attention back to the sweater he was knitting, sighing softly to himself. "You're welcome to look around all you like as long as you don't shoplift." He hummed quietly to himself as he worked.

With a nod, Emilia moved through the shop. She smiled some, looking over the items. She felt the sleeves of a few of them, letting out a soft hum. She looked up when she saw someone approaching her stall, saying a small farewell before making her way over. She offered a grin to the customers, nodding some to their questions. She handed over the honey cakes they requested.

By the end of the day, Axis had finished knitting about half of the sweater and had sold pretty much everything. When the sun began to sink below the horizon, he started to pack up all his things so that he could go home. His stomach was growling loudly due to him not eating anything all day.

Emilia had sold out most everything she'd set out for the day, pleased with herself as she counted her money and started packing up. She had some food left over, and she didn't like selling day old food, so she wrapped it up to take home for herself. She looked over at the stall next to hers, smiling some as an idea came to her.
"Hey!" She said, making her way over. "I have some food left over, would you like some?"

@Fraust

"Hmm?" Axis looked up when he was addressed, pausing in his organizing. "Oh, sure… what do I owe you?" He asked, pulling out his wallet as he spoke so he could pay for the food. "Forgot to eat again today… ah, well. It happens."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Ah, no, you don't have to pay," Emilia said, waving one hand. "I've made enough today already, and besides, the shop's already closed. This is just me giving you some food. Escpecially if you haven't ate yet." The woman offered the bundle of food to Axis, humming some.
"Go ahead, take it."

@Fraust

"Are you sure?" Axis asked, tentatively slipping his wallet back into his pocket so that he could accept the food from Emilia. "Um… thank you, miss." He said awkwardly, seeming a bit unsure what to do with himself. People didn't usually just give him things…

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"I'm sure," Emilia said. She handed the food over, nodding in approval.
"You're welcome, it's no problem!" Emilia hummed some to herself, turning to leave.
"And tomorrow, when it's time to eat, I'll bring some over for you." She smiled softly, making her way back over to her own stall.

@Fraust

"Um… alright." Axis watched her leave, clearly still pretty confused, but grateful nonetheless. Once Emilia had left his sight, he sat down at his table and tentatively began to eat. The baked goods were pretty sweet, but he had expected that… he could make himself something a little more healthy when he got back home. After he had finished, he tossed his trash and gathered his things so he could head home and prepare for the next day.

Emilia finished cleaning up, beginning the walk home. She was relaxed, thinking of what she would make the next day. If Axis hadn't eaten anything at all, then it would be a good idea to pack extra lunch food the next day. Something that wasn't so sugary.

(Timeskip?)

@Fraust

(Yep yep, I'll just go to the next day)

Axis showed up early the next morning to set up his booth. He'd finished up some new outfits the previous night and hadn't slept much at all, and he looked absolutely exhausted. He organized his clothes and then sat down to continue knitting his sweater.

Emilia had stayed up baking again the night before, but she'd managed to get enough sleep to keep herself from looking or feeling tired. She hummed some to herself as she set up, nodding to herself in satisfaction. Then, when she was done, she grabbed a small parcel she'd done up, making her way over to Axis's stall.
"Good morning," she said. "I figured I'd stop by and offer some breakfast."
