@Gentleman

Hello, everyone. I, being the RP-obsessed human that I am, would like to do one more RP. Whoever is interested, feel free to respond, but I have the right to refuse anyone I want to, and I will require a writing sample. I'm looking for experienced RPers! I also have some rules, such as…

  • No cursing or strong language. You must keep it PG-13 or below. I am exposed to enough cursing every day of my life as it is; I'd like to have a break here and there. I apologize if this inconveniences you. I'm not trying to be a jerk.
  • No sex scenes. Romance is encouraged, and I'm all for hand-holding, hugging, kissing… passionately embracing. I just don't want explicit sex scenes, please. Please do not make vulgar comments. If you'd like to make vague references or jokes, that probably won't bother me, just try to keep it under control, alright? PG-13. PG-13. Thank you.
  • Please don't make Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters or OP characters. Please have them decently fleshed-out. Please. For the love of all things good. Please.
  • Nothing magical or demonic.
  • VIOLENCE WELCOME!!! Please. I love violence. Just don't be ridiculously gory.
  • I might be inactive sometimes. This isn't actually a rule, just a warning in advance. But I'll try to reply often.
  • Please make your posts decent lengths and comprehensible. I can't respond to a one-sentence reply, nor can I understand gibberish. In return, I'll try to make my posts lengthy and decipherable as well.
  • I can't think of any more rules just yet, but uh… yea. If you have any questions, just ask. I'll respect your needs; please respect mine. Thank you.

I have a few prompt ideas in mind, but given that it's 2:00 AM and I work tomorrow, I ought to be going to bed. I'll post my prompts sometime tomorrow, hopefully.

If you're interested, please post a writing sample here, and your favorite RP genre(s). Even if other people have posted, you can still post as well, because I may not accept the first poster if they don't meet my needs. You may also post any requirements/rules you will have the RP, as this is for both of us, not just me! :) I want it to be fair.

P.S., Even if I have RPed with you before, I will still likely be interested in roleplaying. If I had a good experience with our RP, you have an even higher chance of getting picked.

This will likely be the last RP I start for awhile.

@croccin-champagne

hey! if nobody else picks this up in the next while, and you're so inclined, i would love to do one more rp with you. again, that's if no one else does, because if someone else expresses interest and you want to roleplay with them, you definitely should

@Calanthe

(Hi, I just saw this, and I really shouldn't be jumping into another RP. But, I have seen some of your past rps and I'd love to RP with you, I have a writing sample ready, and I will follow the rules that you have set. I think that they are fair, and I do understand if you decide to go with someone else. It is completely fine. :) )

@Gentleman

@Calanthe
I'll gladly RP with you. Thank you for your interest! What kinds of RPs (i.e., genres or tropes) do you enjoy most?

@crocs-is-a-bitch
… How could I even think to turn down one of my favorite RPers of all time? Of course I'd love to do another RP with you!! We'll discuss this in PMs. :)

@Calanthe

Personally, I love a good historical roleplay, or a historical fiction. They are so much fun, but really, I enjoy all of them.

@Gentleman

You know, I haven't actually done any historical fiction RPs. Though it would be new to me, I'm already intrigued by the idea. Did you have any particular prompts in mind? What time periods do you prefer?

@Calanthe

Well, I have one solid one that I could use, but, this will be a short summary/rundown, since the last time I wrote it out, It got deleted before I had a chance to save it. But, could i post it tomorrow? Or today for you, I'm not sure which, so I could fully flesh it out again and such? Also the time period would most likely in the 1900's?

@Gentleman

No such thing as too much! :) I'm super inactive at the moment, with work and college and everything else, but I am still living. Somehow.

@Calanthe

((Honestly same, getting all my classes together and still trying to stay safe with Covid sucks, and also, why the heck didn't the prompt post. Shoot.))
