I, as always, recommend One Piece!
I could go on for literal hours about it, but long story short:
Chaotic Good pirates, friendship and general chaos and emotion

Crunchyroll's free, but it's got lots of ads. You can pay 8 USD a month to get Premium.

I think that it's only subbed on Crunchyroll, but you can get the dubbed version on Funimation! It also has a free option, but I'm not sure how many ads usually show there.

I prefer subbed, but that's my opinion

@sock group

Funimation and VRV are some free sites I watch anime on. Of course, there are ads, but you can get premium to get rid of them. :)
I recommend Haikyu, My Hero Academia, and The Rising of the Shield Hero.
To summarize:
Haikyu's a volleyball anime, centered around a volleyball team from Karasuno High School that wants to reach nationals.
My Hero Academia is about a boy who dreams of being a superhero going to a superhero school.
The Rising of the Shield Hero is about a college student who gets transported to a fantasy world and has to take on the role of the Shield Hero.

Watch Cartoon Online is the primary site I watch anime on, it's got ads but you can get uBlock origin ad blocker and it takes care of them.
All of these have subbed and dubbed.
On Watch Cartoon:
Log Horizon:
On the day of an update in the MMORPG Elder Tales, everyone who logged in gets sucked into the world. Not only do they try to figure out how to get out, they also set up a government. Excellent at juggling many different plot lines and character arcs. WARNING!: Log Horizon Season 3 just finished airing and it ended on a cliff hanger, so I'm waiting for Season 4 (here's hoping the light novel author doesn't get put in jail for tax evasion again!)
On Netflix:
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood:
Where to begin? "Alchemy–the science of understanding deconstruction and reconstruction of matter. In order for something to be gained, something of equal value must be lost. In accordance with this law, there is a taboo among alchemists: human transmutation is strictly forbidden. For what could be worth the value of a human soul?" Edward and Alphonse Elric lost their mother many years ago (several years after their dad walked out) and tried to bring her back to life. In the process, Ed lost his leg and Al lost his whole body. Ed gave up his arm to bond his younger brother's soul to a suit of armour. Now, years later, Ed is a state alchemist–the Fullmetal Alchemist. That's all I can think to say without spoiling too much!
I watched this one on YouTube don't judge:
Not sure where to watch this but Steins;Gate:
OMG WHERE TO BEGIN!? (subbed and dubbed are both AMAZING!) the MAD SCIENTIST Hououin Kyouma (actually Okabe Rintaro) accidentally creates a time machine that he uses to send text messages back in time and change the world line. He also has the READING STEINER ability which allows him to retain his memories across the world lines. The time travel is actually very smooth and clean; the only time they kind of blur over it is Ruka (you will understand).
These are like my three faves right now!
Also, sorry I'm late but I hope this is useful for you if you watched all that and then got bored!

@ElderGodSeeba petsbing bing 🐸

Haikyuu has gotten me through some hard times. It's on Netflix if you have it, dubbed. Otherwise there's plenty of illegal websites to watch, just gotta be careful.

i recommend jojo's bizarre adventure-
the fights are awesome, the characters are also awesome, and it has a lot of recognizable memes in it lmao
i think animedao has all the animated parts up currently, but most of the parts (excluding part 5) have a few ads here and there-

My brother's started watching JJBA! From what I've seen, it does have some gore, but the plot seems really interesting
my brother tried to explain the plot to me on the way to the store a few weeks back, and I finally figured out what it feels like to be my mother when literally everyone else in the household tries to explain One Piece to her

yeah, the plot for each part of jjba is very interesting! and yea, they're not afraid to go in with the gore lmao-
oh yeah, the plot is hard to explain, especially depending on which part needs to be explained- (there's so many parts, each with their own weird plots lmao)
