We'll sort it out! The plot is basically explained in the title anyways, so yeah.

(I'll have you! Let's get right to business, shall we? Which role would you like?)

@Tired-but-passionate

(Honestly, I’m not sure. I have a couple of characters I’m not using at the moment, and I think they could fit either one. Do you want me to like, give you a basic profile of the ones I’m thinking about? Also, do you have a preference for a certain role?)

(I'm more suited for B, the one who's killed and becomes a ghost, but I would like to see what characters you have in mind before we get started. If your character works better than mine as B, I'll be A!)

@Tired-but-passionate

(Kk, I’m chill with that!)
(I’ve got a girl that I’ve seriously been neglecting and would like to develop more, but she’s like an extroverted rebel kinda girl with some insecurities and issues, has some trouble with her love life n stuff. She can be either A or B. Then I have this depressed teenage boy who has some demons he’s dealing with (literally), and has serious trust and abandonment issues. He’s more suited to be A I think. Then I have a Jewish person who’s both an orphan and artist, as well as selectively mute. Could be either A or B)

(Okay!)
(Hmmmm. . . I'm thinking about using an old character who actually had this happen to him. His name's Jack. He literally got Danny Phantom'd, which is a horrible way to go, honestly. I'd like to see the girl, though.)

(Nah, chaos is my motto. Always has been! Would you mind starting? It would be easier for me to build from there.)

(Modern, slightly altered events (Things like Trump not getting elected) Obviously magic-y stuff, mixed with elements of sci-fi. The place where it's taking place is a town in Nevada called Mesquite.)

@Tired-but-passionate

(Sorry for the wait)

Darcy sat at one of the tables in the cafe, waiting for a certain someone to walk in. She hadn’t ordered just yet, but waited and checked things on her phone. She’s an average sized woman with willowy frame. Her dirty blonde shoulders settled on her shoulders, and her bangs brushed over eyelashes. A light sweater kept her comfortable in the cool cafe.
The person she was waiting for would hopefully come in soon, though she had gotten there earlier than the agreed time. Things had been a little hectic recently, and she hoped this would be when they finally got some decent time together.
The cafe’s door opened, and Darcy’s eyes shot up from her phone. A young demiboy entered, looking around and adjusting his glasses. When his icy blue eyes turned in Darcy’s direction, she raised her hand and waved them over to her table.

(It's fine)

Jack sighs, running a hand through their soft, curly black hair, looking around the diner.

He smiles as Darcy waves, energetic as usual.

They knew full well that they looked like a trap: nobody knew if he was a guy, a girl, both, or neither. His lashes, face, hair, eyes, body. . . nobody knew. The only ones who knew were their parents, and even they had trouble remembering sometimes.

He slides into Darcy's booth smoothly, his eyes softening as he relaxes.

"Hey." he says, his voice sounding just as cool and soft as ever. Even their voice was impossible to distinguish from a guy's or a girl's.

(Lol, I work with whatever. I didn't know, so I was rolling with the flow. And anyways, you actaully hit on gold: you unintentionally described him XD )

(Lol, in the end I plan on making this a romance, so for now it can be a friend date.)

@Tired-but-passionate

(Oh… right. Should’ve known /gen /lh)

Darcy smiled back, matching his energy. Indeed, they were in their usual androgynous look that had confused her when they first started hanging out, but knowing their pronouns was enough.
“Hey!” She greeted him amiably. “How are you? You have an idea of what you want? I can’t decide.”
She put her phone in her pocket, her eyes drifting to the menu on the screens mounted on the walls of the cafe. They had all the usual coffees, teas and such, but had started to advertise their seasonal fall drinks. She might get one of those, they looked good, and maybe a small treat to go with it.
