Gods, I'm bored. (Well, isn't that a good intro.) But anyway, I would love to do something fantasy-ish with a soft romance. I don't really have any prompts ready at the moment, so if you have any you want to do… bring them in!

@ElderGod-Carrots

  • The Raven - a known, very skilled, highly feared assassin on the continent of Mavadora. All kingdoms fear him. Every drug lord, pirate and other assassins fear him, respect him. He's worked on this continent and the neighboring ones. Everyone knows him. The Prince of Eirus - a known, very kind, highly loved prince on the continent of Mavadora. All kingdoms love him. Every king, lord and other royals love (and envy) him, respect him. He's worked hard trying to make Eirus the most respected and loved kingdom on this continent and the neighboring ones. Everyone knows him.
    When The Raven gets given a job, a very well paying job, to kill the Prince of Eirus it's an offer he couldn't turn down. Yes, he usually had policies against killing people who do not deserve death however the money was too good to refuse.
    After dancing together at a royal ball and kidnapping the prince, The Raven is presented with a predicament - kill the prince and take the money, or respect his morals and let him go. When deciding he can't just let the male go just yet until he males his mind up, they travel back to The Raven's home kingdom, on the way learning of a plot to take over the continent of Mavadora and send the place into chaos. The two decide that, even though they both have very different lines of work, they need to work together to take down the people responsible for the plot and take back their continent (whilst falling in love along the way).

  • The artifact had been kept secret for years. Hidden away in the dungeons of the castle walls, locked up and placed in the darkest regions they could find. For years it slept, waiting for the perfect moment, waiting for its Master to return to this world to reek havoc back on the lands of the free people. It wasn't until the castle was attacked did the king send his heir to retrieve it, to keep it safe, to destroy it. The power it wielded was too great for this world and, without the artifact, the evil that threatened to overthrow their lands would be powerless - well, nearly, but he could be defeated this way. The heir and his best friend (or guard or random person who knows) take up the task, traveling across the continent, harnessing their own power and abilities, avoiding the peril and came their way, in an attempt to reach the Lake of Herth, the only place where the dreaded thing could be destroyed. Then, and only then, can they save their people.

  • You've always been told that the Forest of Echos was a dangerous, deadly place. The creatures that lived in their wouldn't hesitate to harm a human, they'd rip you apart without a second thought. Even so, that doesn't stop you from adventuring into the forest on your birthday one year, armed with only a small dagger at your side in case you encountered anything dangerous. You go too deep, too far and loose your way, the creatures of the night slowly crawling towards you. You find a lake, a waterfall. It was magic, well it looked it. Greens and blues and purples glistening and emitting their own glow. That was when you find them, the other side. The waterfall guarded the entrance to another land, one in danger and, apparently, you're the only one who can help save the evil growing there because well… apparently you're magic too. One of the creatures is there to help. They look… human? No, not human, but close to it, dangerous and powerful but yet they still want to help you, mainly because they know they might die if you fail.

Pulled these from my vault… they're not great however I wasn't able to find much online :/

Awesome. I'd say we could just put up a basic description of our characters, just to add some mystery to it. Uh… bxb.

Alright, here is Valrya!
Regular appearance: He has pale lavender skin and bright leaf-green eyes. He has small ivory antlers and stands at about 5'5" tall, including antlers (5'0" without). He has a slim figure and pointed ears. His face is sprinkled with purple freckles. Dusty lavender hair falls to just below his chin in soft waves and he has delicate tattooed vines winding down his arms in a pale silver color.
Cloaked appearance: Same build and height. His skin is pale, almost shimmering white and his eyes are a toned-down green color. He doesn't have antlers or the silver vines. His hair is black, but the same length. His freckles are now a pale, natural soft brown color.

There had been a prophecy about the so-called savior for ages. So long, in fact, that mostly everyone in Asavia had written it off as false and accepted their fate. Valrya wasn't one of those people. It wasn't so much that he was filled to the brim with hope, but he refused to accept his impending death. He hated that he couldn't stop it himself. Why did they need to rely on someone else? Someone from the other world, too? And so he promised that he would accompany the person, should they ever arrive, and make sure they did everything right. Every day, he went to the door between the worlds and sat in the shade of the huge trees, eyes fixed on the waterfall. And for as long as he had been doing it, no one had emerged. Valrya was losing hope, but he still found himself walking to the waterfall on a particularly beautiful day. Everything there looked the same– beautiful and totally potential-savior-free. He heaved a sigh and dropped into his normal spot. Today was going to be different, he told himself. This was what he told himself every single day, but it had to come true someday. Hopefully, it would be that day.

@ElderGod-Carrots

It was his eighteenth birthday. Bryce was finally an adult, meaning he could do whatever the hell he wanted without his mum saying no. On top of that, today was his day. His. No one else’s. It was why he had decided to venture out into the Forest. A Forest of Echos as it was called. Forest of Death. The creatures that lived there… he’d heard they were dangerous. Really dangerous. However that didn’t stop him from swinging his bow across his back and venturing into the dense trees. The atmosphere was different hear. The trees murmured, the sun was nonexistent. He could feel the magic creeping up his back and sinking into his skin making him shudder. No, he couldn’t be scared, he didn’t get scared. He crept deeper and deeper into the sea of trees, jumping at any noise he heard, making sure his arrow was knocked in his bow in case he needed to fire. He just hoped he didn’t.

Valrya didn't know why, but there was a feeling of hope and possibility in the air that day. The flowers seemed more colorful, the greens, blues and purples of the waterfall seemed to be brigher than ever. And… it was way quieter. Even the rush of the water seemed muted, like the whole area was holding it's breath. One part of Val's mind said that it meant that this was the day, and the other half was trying desperately not to give in to that idea. He shook his head slightly and stared at the pool under the waterfall. All this guessing was driving him crazy. The savoir had better come soon, or he might have to try and do their job himself. Asavia couldn't wait much longer. He could feel it in his bones. Valrya twisted his fingers into the grass beside him and looked back at the waterfall. Please, he thought, come though. We need you.

@ElderGod-Carrots

There was a crack and Bryce whirled on the sound, arrow ready to be fired. This was a bad idea, he shouldn't have come here. His steps seemed to loud, the sound of his breath was too loud in the near silence. The creak of his bow was the loudest. Time stopped. There was nothing but him and whatever was on the other end of the arrow. But the crack and snap that crept forwards towards him sounded too large to take down with his arrows. The thudding against the forest floor indicated that if he didn't move, he'd die. He was human, just human and he had to get home but… which was was home? No. Nonono. Lost. Bryce took off, sprinting in the first direction he chose and not looking back. Whatever was behind him followed. He could almost smell his blood on the forest floor. His legs couldn't carry him fast enough, his ankles couldn't support him but he didn't stop. Bryce ran towards the first piece of light he found, praying it was sunlight only to find water. Did water always glow like that? Did it always look so.. purple? The thought was lost as there was a screech behind him and then the human was diving, diving into the water and towards the waterfall, praying there was dry, safe land on the other side.

Valrya was almost asleep– as he often found himself around midday– when something sparkled at the edge of his vision. He blinked and looked towards the water, expecting it to just be sunlight glancing off the water of the pool. But that wasn't what was happening. Instead, it was coming from the waterfall. Purple and green sparks were flying out of the waterfall and landing on the surface of the water like flowers. Val sprang his feet, eyes wide. This had never happened before. Did that mean it was finally happening? Just in case, he cast a small cloaking spell over himself. Scaring the person probably wouldn't help him convince them that they needed to help Asavia. He took a few hesitant steps towards the edge of the pool, eyes narrowed. If this was just a trick or a fluke, he had no idea how he would be able to recover from that. For the first time, he was actually letting himself belive that this might actually happen.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Bryce broke the water, spluttering and coughing up the water he had inhaled on his frantic swim to the other side. He threw himself on the bank of the water, not even bothering to pull himself all the way out, leaving his legs dangle in the water as he tried to get out all the liquids he'd breathed in. He clutched at the bow in his hand, trying to keep himself steady and not fall into the lake as well, he might drown if that happened and Bryce was intent on staying alive. He had to get home, this had been a mistake and he should have listened to what everyone had said. If he hadn't been so foolish he might not have been on the brink of being ripped apart two seconds earlier. At least whatever it was had stayed on the other side.

Valrya clapped his hands over his mouth, eyes wide. There was actually a person! Coming from the waterfall! Granted, he looked like he'd just narrowly avoided drowning, but who knew what was on the other side of the waterfall? It could have been an ocean or something.
"Um…" Val started, taking a step towards the guy. "Are you alright?" He could still only half-belive that this was happening. For all he knew, it was just a really, really realistic dream. Gods, he hoped that wasn't the case. Part of Val wanted to go over and help the guy, but the bow clutched in his hand made him nervous. Who knew how aggressive this guy would be? If this wasn't a dream, that was. It was still an option, though Val would honestly take being shot over this being a dream.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Bryce opened his mouth to reply to whoever had just spoken to him, only to cough up more water. He took a moment to make sure all if not most of the water was out of his lungs before he replied, "Apart- Apart from nearly dying twice. Y-Yes," He pulled himself out of the water, rolling onto his back. He took some deep breaths, closing his eyes regaining at least some of his composure before he opened his eyes again, moving his head to glance to where the voice had come from. Were they… living out here? In the Forest? With all those- those things that could kill you. He squinted slightly, "Who.. what are you.. why are you out here?"
