Universal Cultists - mainly worshippers of Nature.
Aberrant priests worshipped Djinn, Faerie King of the Fire Elementals, and one story is that the persecution of Djinn's priests led to the Faerie Curses laid on the city. Another, more likely, story, based on the inscriptions uncovered in the ruins, is that these aberrant priests only started their Djinn-worship when the Faerie Curses began, in an attempt to satisfy Djinn and have them lifted. They were certainly persecuted for their attempts, but this seems to be after the revival of blood-sacrifice (some translations read: child-sacrifice], which was the final straw for the then city-king, Thutmuth X. Some priests escaped this persecution and became desert nomads, shunned by all others for their faerie-worship. Professor Maurice Piel, of the University of Icen, Edinar, believed that one hieroglyph in these inscriptions should be read in the sense of "rumour" or "accusation", a prefix to this part of the inscription [found in the National Museum of Edinar on the Piel Stone], indicating that this is not history in the strictest factual sense, but the recording of hearsay. The exact purpose of the Piel Stone has yet to be determined. Further excavations are impossible without the consent of the Suhra, a tribal group claiming direct descendancy from the Ancient Aigypti who now live among the ruins as their guardians.
The people groups who can trace their ancestry back to the Ancient Aigypti pride themselves on their strict traditional adherance to Universal Cultism, despite often living in places where Zacharism is the majority religion. This causes friction and distrust.
