I thought the flow of his name was nice, so therefore no intentional significance to his name.

Various tiny scars along his body from training, mostly located on his hands and forearms. All are very faint or completely gone at this point.

Excited-Okay but like....he has a 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 pretty smile and it only shows when he's excited or happy about something, doesn't jump around too much but you can just see him light up.

Angry-Xavier isn't an angry person, frustrated at times? Yes of course. But when he's pissed his whole energy changes and feels almost dangerous, he may not be the tallest guy in the room but it feels like he's towering over you and intimidating. His voice stays at normal level but there is a growl to it.

Sad/Upset-Stays silents and bears it, Selene often told him that showing too much emotion shows weakness so he knows how to hide his sadness. Although if he does break and let’s himself cry, he hyperventilates a lot and either curls in on himself or cling onto someone else if it’s someone he trusts. It’s heartbreaking to watch this man cry.

Lying-He's hands and voice shake just a little bit, of course he'd nervous but Xavier is very good at hiding it.

Flustered- Eye contact? Who's she? He's stoic nature is thrown off the rails and he's a stuttering mess. Its feels out of character almost when seeing him embarrassed or flustered, its like he doesn't know what to do with himself.

Bored-Yawns a lot, everything else about him is normal but he just yawns a lot.

Xavier is the strong silent type that rarely shows any emotion towards others. He's always been the quiet kid that never talked or participated much, never liked much attention drawn to him either. This was further enforced when he became a dragon knight as his teacher was quite strict and demanded a lot of obedience and respect. He was told thats how he would become the best of the best.

November 19th

Tanis, Dark Territory

Born to Aquila and Pitch Andres, Xavier's early life was relatively normal. He had a loving and supportive family and was a good kid overall, not many friends but a good life with little excitement.

His parents did somewhat expect him to have a stammer like Pitch, and did their very best to help him out and support him as his dad knew how it was like to have one. Xavier wasn't "pushed into a locker and called a stupid nerd" kinda of bullied but people were often not patient with him or irritated which, of course, still hurt.

When Xavier was 12 years old, his dark guardian abilities started to develop much faster and stronger than normal, leading him to discover that he was supposed to be the next Dark Dragon Knight for the kingdom. He was quickly sent to live in the castle away from his parents and train under the other Dragon Knight, Selene. He wouldn't really see his family after this despite being moved to the capital, missing them often. Selene, who was a very strict woman, trained Xavier to be a knight in terrible ways. She often forced him to train long hours with little breaks in order to hone his power, telling him how if he was not the perfect knight that he would be worthless, and blamed him for any little inconvience she could think of. Xavier only become more silent, he took on Selene's harsh training as her ideologies made its way into his head. He became submissive towards her and often envious of the other knights who got lighter training, but he endured as he began to believe he was good for nothing else but being a knight.

During this time he befriended Peggy, the Air Dragon Knight who had been in similar circumstances as him with her own strict trainer. They met up often to training together and grew close as friends, allowing themselves to be free of their trainers harsh eyes and words.

Selene would go on to train Xavier for another 7 years before passing away due to the dragon knight curse which led to him to meeting Samantha Gales, the next dragon knight in line. Being 20 at the time and had trained for the minimum amount of years, Xavier was fit to train Sam on how to control her abilities and become a powerful knight herself.

Xavier quickly found himself struggling to follow Selene's teaching, as he saw how broken Sam was, he couldn't put so much weight on her especially after being separated from her father for the first time. He never tried filled the role of a father figure to her, and never tried to replace her father but Xavier tried his best to be supportive as he knew what the pressures of being a knight. He was s much more fair and less harsh than Selene. Xavier trained her how he wished he was trained, with understanding and patience to the best of his ability despite snapping every so open due to stress. He wanted Sam to be happy as a knight as much as possible despite the curse.

Xavier and Sam grew close together and despite being gentle on her, Xavier never fully abandoned the strict mindset on himself, as unhealthy habits habits were burned into his mindset to a subconscious level. He was one of the only true protectors of the kingdom and he had to stay silent and obey the royalty.

He did start to loosen up and let his guard down just a little bit around Sam, as her outlook on life was much more optimistic and she challenged his permisstic nature. Sam loved the arts and rollarskating, and despite her never being able to get him to put on a pair of skates he still enjoyed watching her practice and support her when trying out new tricks. He was often the one to worry about her hurting herself and patching up scraps on her knees after a fall...even when Sam was still laughing. For the first time in a while he felt happier, less tense and even more optimistic about the passing days. He began to slowly heal...

This all unfortuanatly came to a stop when Xavier was 22 years old during the festival, specifically the Dark Territory annual gala. Xavier was having a good time during the gala, finally able to find himself to relax, enjoy the music and food and conversation with other nobels. King Augustus and Queen Umber had been off on a different side of the room, until Xavier saw a couple of unfamilar faces sneaking towards them with knives just barely poking out of their sleeves. Xavier quickly jumped into action of defending the King and Queen and disarmed two of the assassins, Sam jumped in and was able to knock them down. The thrid and final assassin came at Xavier, and as he was disarming them the knife hooked on the inside of Xavier's mouth and tearing his cheek before defeating them.

The assassins were dealt with and captured, but Xavier's whole left cheek was cut open, leaving him out of commission for a couple weeks in order to heal. He was praised for his bravery, but infortunatly relapsed mentally. He had let his guard down, and it resulted in the royalty almost getting killed...just as Selene told him. While he healed, he felt useless as he couldnt' perform his duties and often worried about Sam's wellbeing as well as the royalty. Combined, this all lead him to relapse and become quiet again, focusing almost all his time to being better and stronger then before no matter how much he damaged himself.

Before the story begins Xavier, along with the rest of the dragon knights have been corrupted by Persona's magic, he's been fighting in pointless battles and causing much more bloodshed than he realises.

Because of his general experience and control levels, he's been proving to be a huge force to be reckon with. Xavier would also be given the order to hunt down the newest dragon knight, Ember, and kill her before the Fire Territory can bring her to the safety of the kingdom.

Stammer (genetic on his dad's side)-When trying to form words he blinks his eyes a lot trying to gather his thoughts, Xavier also sometimes had head jerks but thats only happens if he is overly stressed out. Partially the reason he was a quiet kid too since he was self conscious, he isn't anymore but sometimes if people are impatient with him its starts some negative inner monologue.

PTSD-Got it from the incident with his facial scar and somewhat from Selene

Dragon Knight Curse- As the knights are chosen from the deities and infused with more of their own divine magic, the mortal body cannot handle it for long before there are mental and physical repercussion. To combat this, the Deities shortened the lifespan of the knights to half. Rarely they live past 30 years old, some even dying at the age their powers awakened.

Facial scar-Got from the assassination attempt, its a large gash that goes from the left corner of his lip to mid cheek.

Stammer:
-Has a hard time forming words
-Repeats certain sounds often
-Anxiety about talking
-Blinking a lot when trying to form a word
-Uses and repeats filler works such as "like" and "um" a lot

PTSD:
-Nightmares every so often of the incident or Selene
-Panic Attacks if weapons are too close to his face
-Gets overwhelmed easily
-Sometimes snaps when he is frustrated, he's quick to correct his behaviour

Facial Scar (Referenced from Glasgow smile):
-Loss of mobility and flexibility in face muscles on that side
-Hard time eating and drinking, he has a good system now as he only chews with the right side of his mouth and tilts his head to the right
-Makes his stammer worse as its hard to physically speak
-PTSD
-Loss of feeling, despite being more sensitive he can't feel

Xavier doesn't fully recognise that he has PTSD, so properly coping is a struggle. He but his duties above all else and just deals with whatever is happening in the moment.

Panic Attacks are not frequent enough for him to find it a problem, therefore he doesn't cope properly or take care of the aftermath.

There is still a hole in his cheek and major scarring but its no where near as big as it used to be.

Peggy was the first to try and point out to Xavier that panic attacks and nightmares like that aren't normal. Xavier thinks he has bigger things to deal with

Aquila and Pitch Andres (Mother/Father): Xavier hasn't been in touch with them much in his adult life, but he still loves then and appreciates them for being supportive when they were together. He tries his best to visit when he can but its usually few and far between...they all have a comfortable silence which each other, just a nice family. He hasn't shared much about what Selene had done to him, they don't ask questions about it but when he is home they do bring him comfort.

Sam: Although they don't quite have a father-daughter relationship, Xavier is still protective over Sam in his own way and tries to support her when she's stressed. He above anyone else knows what its like to be taken away from your family and put into a high stakes, high stress role and can teach her how to function. He's better taking care of Sam than himself. Because of her more childish nature, Xavier guides her as much as possible in life and allows her to be herself around him and not feel the need to hide her true side. Sam, of course, appreciates this and its a huge stress relief on her side. He does feel bad for her quite a bit, some people aren't meant to be knight or fight and yet here Sam is.

Burn: They both are quite similar in energy levels and quiet personalities so they immediately got each other and how they function. Xavier loves to spar with Burn and thinks that he will certainly be one of the most skilled after him and Peggy pass away and always tries to give him tips. He helps when having panic attacks, and simply just get each other without speaking, eye movements and simple gestures speak volumes to each other. A trusting relationship.

Peggy: Xavier relates to Peggy the most, as she is also a dying Dragon Knight who was raised on similar harsh training from teachers. She understands the pressure and because of their similar knight upbringings they have a lot of the same views and ideas on what it means to be a dragon knight in this day and age. She's very kind and patient with Xavier and he very much appreciates her presence, Peggy is quite level-headed too and mature so they get along amazingly.

Thorn: He doesn't have much in common with Thorn to be blunt, but they have the same energy level and mellow vibes so they don't clash too much. Comfortable vibes of just sitting and talking with each other about how their lives are going on in the kingdoms. Thorn lowkey is trying to let Xavier come out of his shell and speak up but isn't always pushing it, she jokes about him dying his hair to make him stand out but its just a simple joke

Tornado: Although closer with Peggy then Tornado, Xavier still enjoys his presence and thinks he is somewhat of an old soul. Kind of a mix between Peggy and Burn's relationship, they don't actually talk much but have a lot of unspoken understandings and queues that speak volumes between the two. They share the same options on most things, usually keeping away from any topics like the Deities. Tornado sees being a dragon knight as a blessing while Xavier sees it like a curse, they stay away from that topic as a whole.

Toby Devin: He used to think Toby had potential to do some real good in the world, he was strong, smart, fast and charismatic. Xavier kinda forgot that the Demise of the Divine cult existed and it caught him so off guard. He wasn't close with Ilona, but still mourned her death and somewhat comforted Ray when she passed. Xavier does ask for updates on him from Jaiden, not wanting to have to deal with his intentions and plans in the future.

Venom Veronica Sing: Venom takes full advantage of Xavier's quiet nature to tease him and push all his buttons. Understandably, he hates that about her. Xavier is more annoyed about how she treats her battles and his prideful to a fault, causing others to feel beneath her, overall he ignores her and let Peggy give her a nice bonk on the head when being she's being an ass rather then waste his little emotional energy on Venom.

Has mixed feelings about the Elements, his family still worshipped them but after becoming a knight he grew bitter as he realised how unfair it was to place the burden upon children to protect the kingdom.

Dislikes demons strongly, thinks they cause too much trouble and would be a pain to deal with.

Has a very strong respect for the royalty in general, he doesn't make too much of an effort to get to know them personally as Xavier keeps it strictly professional.

Other dragon knights respect and fear him to an extent. Since he is older they automatically assume he's dangerous they don't exactly avoid him, but are way more professional around him.

(Its almost like when your in class and the teacher walks back in, you go back to doing work and act like you weren't messing around)

When he was a kid, Xavier did desire a relationship at one point but was indirectly shot down by Selene who told him that its pointless to start anything because you'll just end up hurting the other person involved. So he doesn't think about it anymore.

The character doesn't have a stutter, but Dracula has the much lower and much more tired voice to him. Very intimidating without trying.

On Xavier's 17th birthday, Peggy decided to take him out to a bar for drinking. It was supposed to be a casual hangout but after one too many glasses of alcohol, Xavier was very drunk and had to be escorted back home by Peggy. He doesn't remember the night too much but Peggy insists that he was the most lively person there and teases him from how much he was giggling like an idiot. Xavier gets very embarrassed by it and prefers to not talk about his drunk shenanigans.

-Although he had Biscuit growing up and loved her a lot, he still prefers dogs

-Not a huge detail but you need to be a dragon knight for 5 years at least to be able to train another knight as at that point, you'd know the basics. Xavier was a knight for 7 years with Selene, before Sam took over and he as able to train her.

-Xavier and Peggy are considered "model Dragon Knights" in the sense that they are powerful and obedient. This comes from their strict training and high stress levels and pressure on them leading to mental health effects. Xavier prefers to just take on the burden and not speak, complain or argue. He is simply a solider.
