As well-styled as he can get it with the limited time and resources
Slight stubble, if any at all
J.B. is the easygoing one of the group, always able to crack a joke and alleviate tension. He's good-looking and knows it, and aims to become an actor after the Choran War. Although he tries to pretend that none of what he's seen and done bothers him, he does tend to be on-edge and a bit jumpy. He knows his worth and gets upset at the way that the soldiers are treated, especially how their deaths are treated as a tally as opposed to a tragedy. Hank Schriver notes that despite his usually cheery disposition, he worries that if the rest of the Ceta Squadron died, J.B. would kill himself due to the grief. He clings tightly to his remaining friends, often jumping headfirst into danger for them.
Acting, hand-to-hand, good sense of humor.
To make it through the War and make it big as an actor
Stand-up comedy, juggling (for a month or so before he got bored)
Stubborn, jumpy, doesn't take much seriously
Against those from Chora
Born and raised on Wols, J.B. enlisted as soon as the war with Chora was declared. He's one of the oldest members of the Ceta Squadron, save for Ceza Wehn, and has seen many soldiers and friends injured, dead, or transferred. The most difficult of these for him to endure was the death of Carey Holden , a young draftee who J.B. had taken under his wing, as well as the death of Maura Mikkels, a hovercraft driver who he'd been flirting with.
