Toria is very blunt and tells it like it is whether people want it or not. She's dry and observational, and even her compliments tend to come off as thinly veiled insults. Despite this, she has a fierce loyalty to her friends and her beliefs, which she will compromise for nothing. She uses her emotional distance as a coping mechanism--if she doesn't grow close to her fellow soldiers, she won't be as upset when she dies. She has a borderline-flirtatious banter with J.B. Keller, which eventually becomes a relationship after the Truce.
Very good shot, decent tracker. Good eyesight.
To stay alive
Sketching, playing cards, exploring the nature wherever she's stationed
Stubborn, snippy, blunt, easily annoyed
Against those from Chora
Born and raised on Kauff, Toria was drafted for the Choran War. She excelled at the more recon-agent bits of training, but was enlisted in the infantry anyways and joined the Ceta Squadron, led by Commander Ceza Wehn. She became a staple of the squadron, despite its changes, and befriended a new recruit in Hank Schriver. During a battle weeks before the Truce, two of her fingers are blown off and she's left stunned and unable to fire her gun. Seeing her injured and fearing for her life, J.B. Keller throws himself on top of her and takes a bullet himself to shield her. They recovered in hospital together before travelling to Wols and eventually getting engaged.
