So… I've decided to try my hand at this. I seem to be pretty decent at this, given that I have plenty of specific information you'd like about the prompt. And please let me know how many characters you want in it, and whether you want it to be a prompt for a book or a short story, ect. or a rp. The difference is that a rp prompt needs to have at least two different characters in it.

Requirements:

  • You must supply the following information: Number of characters, genre of prompt, prompt for a book/short story/ect. or rp, and any other specific information that you think might be useful. Remember, the more specific you get, the easier it is for me!
  • You must also be willing to be patient, as if I get a lot of requests, I'm not going to be doing them all at once. In fact, I might do one, and then wait maybe a day or so and then do another. So, if I don't get to you right away, don't get mad at me.

That's it! So, uh… have fun!

Hi! If you can I would love a mystery/detective writing prompt, with 2 characters, for a book. I was thinking that the detective would be a guy and the other character be a little girl who is a huge mystery fan. Thanks!

@saor_illust school

"Hi!" the girl announced brightly, holding out a piece of paper and a marker. "I'm a huge fan! Could you sign the paper?" she asked, her eyes full of hope. "Please?" she added, as an afterthought. The man she was offering the paper to turned around to look at her. He was wearing a big, black, cloak and large sunglasses. He was one of the world's most famous detectives, although he had taken every precaution possible. He was even wearing a fake beard! He didn't know how it was possible that the little girl, who looked to be about ten years of age, had recognized him. "Little girl, how are you so sure that I am what you think I am?" he asked, his brow furrowing in confusion. This was a dangerous location. Looking around, he didn't see any other kids around, either. She shouldn't be here. She was in deep danger. "Little girl, you shouldn't be here. How did you get here? Nevermind, whether or not I know how you got there, that won't change anything about how I can help protect you.

Is this good?

hey! i've been trying to write something with an irredeemable villain mc. i'm thinking a magical universe, one mc but there are plenty of characters to go around in the background. i'm thinking that the mc is male and bi, about 6 foot, and spends a fair amount of time at the bar.

@TeamMezzo group

yeah of course! any particular plot in mind?

he's trying to steal the Major Magic Source(trademark pending) because his father wants it. His father is a world-renown villain

@saor_illust school

"Of course, Father," the man bowed in respect and turned to leave.
"Oh, and before you go- don't get into trouble again, not like last time," his father called out just before he left.
He paused and looked back. "I won't. Seriously," he replied in an annoyed tone. You can do this. All it is is one simple theft. No big deal, he thought to himself. But first- stop in at the bar. He spent quite a bit of time at the bar, actually. But though no matter how much he tried to not be nervous, he couldn't help it. He'd messed up so many times before, this was his last chance.

Hey, is this good? Let me know if it needs any editing!

oh, sorry, nevermind, I've got the general plot, it's gonna hopefully be a drama/sci-fi thingamajig, thanks anyway!

@Milani eco

May i please have a crime prompt? I would be very grateful if you could do a full blurb kind thingo, im not very good at this. :)

@Milani eco

oh-
hecc its been revived

could you clarify? what kinda crime prompt?

i dont really know, i was just thinking something that rewrites the stereotypes, like a female officer, or a non-cliche thingo.

@saor_illust school

ahhhhh as title suggests, i'm not very good at this kinda thing-
that's kinda why i asked for any specifics

well, i'll try to come up with something, can't promise it will, and i quote, "rewrite the stereotypes," because i have absolutely no experience in writing crime and a lot of other genres, actually eek

@saor_illust school

So,,, this turned out to be more horror-type than I initially expected, but I'll roll with this for now. Please do let me know if this isn't the kinda thing you wanted. I decided to end it there because it left more room open for interpretation.

"911, how can we help you?"

The voice sounded genderless, robotic, even. She thought she'd gotten past the wall of robots and maybe she'd be able to talk to an actual human. "I-" she began, glancing behind her briefly. The body of a man appearing to be in his early twenties or so lay on the ground, eyes glazed over and his body twisted into an unnatural state. "There's been a murder…. and I think it was done by a robot. A killer robot, to be exact," she finally explained.

"I'll send a police team right over to you," the voice said in response. "Stay on the line for me until they come, okay?"

She nodded stiffly. Having finally said the words out loud, it was suddenly all too real. Killer robots. What if she'd still been talking to a robot? What if the police team that were supposed to come were all robots? She couldn't stop thinking about all the possible scenarios that could go wrong. Maybe she'd made a mistake calling 911. Maybe she should've gone straight to the police station first.
