Really, what else could you wish for in the 1920s?

Flaws- Bravado, showoff.
Weaponry/powers- Fists and body. Incredibly strong. Minor healing and magical explosion.

Role: the scientist

Personality: Bubbly and cheerful, but also a bit of a mess. Thomas can be awkward at times and is never organized, but he always gets the job done. He's really into science, especially chemistry and loves learning new things. He falls for people too easily and laughs really a lot. He's kind and really sweet, and loves talking about science and learning new things. Artistic. Can be dramatic occasionally.
Appearance: Fluffy strawberry blonde hair with a sprinkling of freckles across his nose and cheeks, pale skin, and a nice smile. He has wide, innocent hazel eyes and nice eyebrows. He has a Greek nose and a positive demeanor. He is tall, at 6' 0", and lanky.
Talents: Anything science, but mostly chemistry, also art
Flaws: Awkward, low self-esteem, and too trusting. Also really selfless, which can be bad. He's also a horrible liar.
Weaponry/powers: He can withstand a lot of harmful chemicals, and is really smart.
Background: Thomas comes from a family that isn't exactly well off. He always scraped by, until his older brother's investment in the stock market came through and they became upper middle class. Not exactly rich, but suddenly Thomas was able to afford more expensive schooling and had more money to work on his projects.

Name: Kimiko Kasai
Role: Leader
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual, very heavy internal homophobia. Won't voice her thoughts out loud because she doesn't want to risk losing the LGBT members of her crew and feels conflicted over who she is.
Open to ships?: Yes
Age: 22
Personality: Kimiko is a very morally grey person, who does things only to benefit herself. Kind of distant, and doesn't really try to fit in with the others. Quick learner. Will literally keep on going until she collapses. VERY sharp tongue, won't hesitate to use it on you if you piss her off. However, if you really get to know her, she is one of the most loyal and caring people you will ever meet. She is very protective of the people whom she calls family and will fight for them. Carries herself with the air of a princess. Strategic, pretty smart but also kind of dumb (see below). Good at manipulating people… but not so much at socializing with them when she's not the one in charge.
Appearance: Kimiko is Japanese, with black hair cut into a messy bob, brushing against her ears. (She cut it off when she joined The Crimson Flower as a sign of defiance, for it was her long wavy hair that was the reason she was taken from her homeland.) She has very pale skin, with a large birthmark on her neck that she covered with a tattoo of a poisonous, vivid flower. Very sharp features, almost to the point of being unearthly. Her limbs are long and spindly, and she’s taller than most, about six feet. The thing is that when she lies, she can mimic any facial expression almost to the point of perfection… except her eyes. So she wears a giant, wide-brimmed hat to cover her eyes and shade her features. Has the added effect of unnerving the people she interrogates.
Talents: Manipulating. Good at making poisons, not so much at antidotes.
Flaws: Has a bit of an ego problem. Untrustworthy, lies a lot. Always turns to the most complicated solution without thinking. Hates being humiliated or showing weakness. The reason that she hates getting attached to people and never trusts them is that once she does, she refuses to see anything bad about them or to acknowledge their flaws.
Weaponry/powers: Her sharp tongue, and her daggers. Only of use in a last resort. They are coated with poison, made from the same flower tattooed on her neck (not literally, no freaking tattoo powers). She wears an elaborately decorated lacquer comb in her hair at all times. Purpose? Who knows. Some believe that she has charmspeaking powers, but the one thing Kimiko prides herself on is getting to the top without any powers.
Background: Was captured in her homeland and brought to a brothel. She started flirting with an innocent young man who often frequented the place, got him to pay off her indentured services price, and then killed him, though no one knows for SURE what happened. She claims that she loved him, his death was unfortunate, but no one believes her. Though she DOES still wear her wedding band around her finger…

Role: The Seducer

Age: 20
Personality: Bold, Intelligent, Irresistible, Talkative, Complimentative, flirty, Nice, enchanting, hates roses and asparagus, Has no problem with cross dressing, Friendly, not really trusting of others. Is allergic to cinnamon. Comfortable among people even if he doesn't know them quickly. Creative when flirting.
Appearance: Black hair that seems almost blue in some lightings, his hair does have navy blue highlights throughout it. Grey silvery eyes with light blue hints in it. 5'6, skinny, lightly muscled. White t-shirt, black leather jacket, dark jeans, sneakers. Has some tattoos on him. One of his tattoos on his shoulder blade is a shattered mirror that creates a heart in the middle, he has another on his forearm is a shattered mirror, on his chest near his heart is a tattoo of a heart with a lock in the middle.
Talents: Psychology, Charisma, Gaining people's trust, flirting?
Flaws: He doesn't trust people easily, he might try running into a situation.
Weaponry/powers:
Weapon- Daggers & Knives (easily Concealed weapons)
Powers- Slight hypnosis
Background: Came from a well off sort of family, had to go to many events as a kid and talk with people. He would try and impress people often. His parents crashed their car one day when they were going out on a date. He went and lived with his aunt when he was 15, his aunt was a prostitute and taught him some things and told him stuff when they would hang out. He started working for people when he was 18 and his job was to obtain information which wasn't too hard for him. Had a girlfriend who broke up with him at 17 because she said he wasn't what she wanted and he wasn't good enough at all. Had a few relationships after between 17 and 19, they all ended in a breakup by the other person. He hasn't been in any relationships since. He got a kitten recently called Crimson. Lost contact with his aunt recently due to her new fiance.
