Amethyst shook her head putting her attention back to the SB president. None of the other rivaling classes seemed to hate each other this much, it was just Amethyst and Levi. No one really knew why but that's just the way it was. She was determined not to let her hate for him get in the way of being a great president.
(I might just see how school starts off (I have the dreaded physics this year so I don’t know how that’ll go…) and then decide later if I want to jump back in (if that’s okay with you)? I just don’t want to have to drop out when my character is already invested lol)
(Yeah, I totally get that. Good luck with your physics!)
(So lets discuss, what should be the big school event be?)
(It could be a carnival/festival or a big dance?)
(Ooh, what about a festival type thing where there's like a big dance at the end, and it just revolves around the two sides and who did better setting up their half of the festival or something like that?)
(OOO! To add onto it, there's also a competition to see who makes more money on their half of the festival. The dance would be a joint project.)
(Okay, so that's what they're all talking about. Yeah?)
"I don't think we should do that. I was thinking maybe a dance of some sort at the end."
Levi speaks up after being annoyed by them talking about a stupid fishing competition near the end. He shivered at even the thought.
For the first time probably ever, Amethyst agreed with Levi. "I agree with Levi. Yes, everyone loves competitions, but a majority also love dances. We'll have plenty of competitions in the future anyway." She smiled to herself, proud of her contribution to the conversation. A few of the other members glanced to Amethyst, surprised that she agreed with Levi. Sometimes things got so bad so they ended up haveing a debate of sorts.
One boy, in particular, spoke up. There's always a class clown or the funny one in everything. And he was one of them. But Levi was pretty sure that he was actually being serious for once.
"Like a dance battle! Or like where everyone's rapping with each other!"
He says with a smile. Nobody even knew why he was even on the student council.k
"Maybe a traditional dance. I doubt anyone would want rap battles while everyone does flips in the air everywhere."
He says with an eye roll. Just the thought made him facepalm on the inside. How were people even stupid enough to do such a thing?
Amethyst nodded once again agreeing with Levi. At that point, the bell rang signaling the end of lunch. Amethyst shot up in her seat and started walking out of the library. She had to get to a class at the opposite end of the school and upstairs. She looked at the door from the cafeteria, seeing Ryuu and giving him a small wave before continuing to her class.
Ryuu had just started walking down the halls when he had seen Amethyst. His face lit up when he saw her, a big smile on his face through a tiny wave like he usually did.
Levi needed to do some work in the library later after school along with going to the coffee shop, but that was also just his excuse to get away from everyone.
Amethyst had a smile on her face as she turned the corner to another hallway. As always, she was early, but she didn't like to chance it and end up being late for class. she went to sit down on the far left by a window.
James had come to this class, which was the only one that didn't allow him to get a new desk. The others are way too filthy, and Levi, unfortunately, couldn't take it. James was his go to when things like this happened.
"No, don't worry. I made sure to at least wipe it off before i sat down- what?! Goodness Levi! Youre so high-maintenance! When will you stop?"
He says seemingly talking to himself as he sat down on the desk.
"Of course…."
He says with a sigh as he laid his head down on the desk in his arms as the teacher walked in.
(Are they in the same class or no?)
(Okie!)
Amethyst saw Levi sit down a few desks away from her. It was so weird to her, he talked to himself at times. He didn't strike her as the type to talk to themselves. She leaned her head on her hand, waiting for the class to be done already.
(So he doesn't technically have multiple personality disorder, but he basically has seven people living inside his mind. But everyone either assumes he's crazy, or that he had MPD and he doesn't tell anyone otherwise.)
James sat back up, running his fingers through his thick black hair and looking around the room. Once he spots Amethyst, he gives a shy smile and a wave. Unlike Levi, James actually wanted to get to know Amethyst. She was smart, pretty and always filled with good ideas. Why wouldn't he.
Amethyst looked at him slightly confused, but she smiled anyway with a small wave. The late bell rang and she quickly faced the front as the teacher started the class. She was always confused by Levi, and that's all she thought he was, Levi.
Letting out a sigh as she looked a little confused, cursing slightly under his breath.
"Really? Does she not know?"
He mumbles to himself, well….thats what it seemed like.
"Of course she doesn't. Does anyone else know?"
He says looking out the window.
"Oooof course they don't."
Amethyst traced her finger on a crack in her desk, bored to death by the teacher. Today was just a lecture day so she didn't really have to do anything if she didn't want to. What mostly filled her mind was how to win the competition against Levi.
The competition was simple. Who ran their side of the festival the best. But they all had to have different things and everything. So it was basically like the school was relying on a rather small group of students to run two festivals. Levi had been class president three times in a row, though he's gotten a lot better and planning everything as the years went by. He would say he's doing an excellent job.
On the other hand, Amethyst had never been the class president. She had been in student council before, but never the president. She was very nervous about planning it, but she did like to plan stuff though. She just didn't want to let her council down, and Levi's class was basically unbeatable, or at least it seemed so.
At the beginning of the school year, Levi had once again been voted to be the president, and with that, he always made sure to find out who was his rival. And was always sure he would beat them. He could tell the girl this year had almost no experience being president and planning something this big.
(what if She goes to Levi asking for advice on how to manage something like that or something like that? Like, he somehow ends up trying to help her and teach her how to be a president even though they're basically enemies. And like, his excuse is that he wants a fair fight.)
Amethyst sighed, checking the clock hoping class was over. She ended lightly tapping her fingers on her desk, both to pass the time and to help her not be so nervous about the festival competition.
(Ooo I really like that idea! She'll do that after school!)
(nice!)
The bell finally rang after 45 long minutes, James stood up slowly, dusting himself off for Levis sake and sanity, for he could care less whether he got dust on him. As he walked down the halls, trying to remember his next class, which he often forgot, a small girl ran into him. Looking down at the ground, the random girl slowly stepped away from him, most likely thinking it was Levi, she hastily picked up her single book who had fallen on the ground before he could even bend down and help her, she quickly ran off.
Amethyst let out a small breath. Finally, her least favorite class was over, just one more left. She quickly left the classroom, speed walking to her next class. Before turning into her class, she saw Levi get bumped into by a freshman student. She turned around afraid to see the end of it.
