Anya have a fake laugh " yeah.. just a little scared.. never been behind the barrier much.."

“I have,” Eve remarked. “Alfea is charming, but outside is beautiful. And romantic…”

Anya chuckled what are you planning.. she thought and smiled warmly

Eve’s eyes glowed. “Oh, nothing,” she purred, using her free hand to tilt Anya’s chin up and toward her to kiss her briefly.

Anya whined softly as the kiss was broke so soon. " I'm trusting you.."

“Mmm,” Eve hummed. “Don’t worry, my love. I won’t let anything bad happen to you. You won’t so much as twist your ankle on a root, I’ll protect your every step.”

Anya laughs, smiling happily " okay love," she said happily

After a few moments, the pair reached the Barrier. It shimmered blue around them as Eve passed through pulling Anya with her.

Anya looked back at campus and then to eve. She followed eve .

Eve sensed Anya’s apprehension leaving the barrier. “Something wrong, love?”

" like I said, just nerves " she said softly

“About?” Eve pushed gently, brushing aside branches in their way.

" just what I've seen out here.. but its nothing.."

Eve frowned slightly, but she continued walking, taking Anya’s hand to guide her since it was easier that way. She seemed to have a destination in mind. “What’s out here, darling?”

Anya's mind flashed with the principals voice tell no one what you saw anya.no one.. Anya shook her head," n..nothing.."

Unfortunately for Anya, Eve was a mind fairy. She gasped as Dowling’s words echoed in her mind too. “You should have told me it was dangerous to bring you out here,” she lovingly but sternly scolded. “Let’s go—” A rasping noise behind her cut her off. She whipped around, pushing Anya protectively behind her.

Anya yelped " eve. Don't mean to be harsh but I do physical damage to them! " She yelped out

“What is them?” Eve asked, trying hard to keep the tremble out of her voice.

" the burned ones.." Anya said softly as she tried to pinpoint the location. " My training? It's to fight against them"

“We have to get back to the Barrier,” Eve gasped quietly. “Back to the school. Tell Miss Dowling…”

" go, you get to her, I'll protect the barrier." Anya said sternly. " Just go!"

“I’m not leaving you,” Eve replied firmly. “We get back to the Barrier together, we go tell Dowling to get—” A snarl interrupted her, and a mangled black creature dodged around a tree and charged at them. Eve’s eyes widened.

Anya's blast shot beside eve "let's go!" She yelled and ran, not daring to look behind

Eve followed Anya without hesitating. She could hear the snarls of the Burned One gaining on them.

Anya burst through the barrier, only looking back for eve.
