Nykidia was walking near the barrier. Night was teaching her a bit of shadow magic, helping her create a tiny version of her self in the palm of her hand. Nykidia watched a girl stumble through the barrier. "Oh no!" Nykidia said rushing over to her.

Kenna wrung her wet hair out from stepping out of the shower. She though that being Poseidon's child would let her not get wet at all but it was the exact opposite. She wrapped her towel tighter around her before quickly dressing into her camp clothes. She didn't have much to do except make new friends but she doubted that it would be possible since she knew almost everyone there.

Sol flattened her shirt and tuned her violin. Her mom thought enrolling her at an academy of music all the way in Washington State would help her make friends and connect with people. She was wrong. Of all the people there, she had one friend. A clumsy girl who was an expert with a flute in her hands but a mess with practically everything else. Like most people at Bear Creek Academy of Musical Arts, her friend was reserved. Most people at the academy had long term goals and put all effort into that goal. And, sure, Sol had plenty of goals she was working hard to get to. But she didn't prioritize that over everything else in her life. An enthusiastic outgoing girl with heaps of natural talent in a school full of quiet conservative people who could've been considered just as gifted if they decided to pursue any other interest didn't exactly click.
Sol lifted her violin to her chin, expecting another perfectly boring day learning things she could already do. She was not expecting the day ahead.

Trixie opened her eyes. Everything hurt. She was lying on a bed in a white room. A guy with blue eyes all over his body smiled at her and went back to staring at the wall.
'This must be a dream!' She thought to herself as she blacked out again.
