"I'm going to be here with Brutus!" She called after neva

Alex waited for neva a to get off work passing the time by playing with Brutus or just letting him lay in her lap

Neva came out a moment later and greeted Alex

"Hey baby.' She said smiling up at neva

" hey.." she jumped as thunder rang out

"Your scared of storms?"

" mostly thunder.."

"Come here.'' She said holding out her arms and making room for neva to sit

Neva did, shaking slightly as her PTSD started i get to her

Alex wrapped her arms around neva and kissed the top of her head "it's okay everything is fine."

Neva held tightly to Alex, as Brutus moved closer to the pair

"Are you all set to go home? maybe you'll feel better then."

Alex helped neva out to the car while holding Brutus's things and his leash

Naize cuddled Brutus in the car

Alex looked over at neva frowning a bit before pulling out of the parking lot and driving home

Neva couldn't help but jump everytime thunder rolled

"Hey it's okay were home now." Alex said softly ash they pulled into the driveway

Neva quickly got out of the car and inside with Brutus
