D'Arcy sucked a moment before drawing back. "Asra?"

Asra looked to his alpha with tears " I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean any of it!" He started crying

The alpha quickly collected Asra in his arms. "Shh," he whispered. "It's alright. I know."

Asra gripped tightly with his newfound strength" I'm so sorry.."

D'Arcy grunted and held him back. "I am too."

" c..can we lay down, I'm so tired.."

"Of course." He carried Asra up to his room and set him down on the bed.

Asra pulled D'Arcy next to him

D'Arcy easily sunk down and held Asra close. "You alright?" he asked quietly. "I'm never leaving you like that again."

" everything stillhurts.."

"Just rest," D'Arcy urged.

Asra cuddled close, whimpering softly

D'Arcy kissed his forehead. "Rest," he instructed.

" I'm trying.."

D'Arcy chuckled. "Try harder," he teased.

" everything is overwhelming right now.."

"I understand that," he sighed. "Just… focus on my breathing. Okay?"

Asra winced as he tried to focus his racing mind, eventually he manages and falls asleep

Even once Asra fell asleep, D'Arcy stayed awake. He didn't really need it, and he vowed to protect his omega over anything else.

The door burst open, and Calliope rushed in. "Asra?"

"Hailey told about your phone call, and dammit, what happened?!" the female vampire demanded.

Hailey hurried into the room after her alpha. "I'm so sorry," she mouthed. "Calli, we can't just barge into their house all the time, especially not when they're sleeping."

" i… " his voice shook as the events of last night passed his mind " I got put into subzero… by someone else… they said D'Arcy wasn't supposed to mate with me.. i felt horrible and everything still hurts.." he started crying again

Both of the girls' eyes widened. "Subzero?" Hailey asked breathily, clinging tightly to Calliope. "Oh, God…"
