Farah whined quietly when he broke the kiss.

"I'm just making sure the wounds heal properly," Ben muttered. "Fairies heal differently from Burned One wounds."

Farah's heart instantly began to race. Is that a promise?

Farah swallowed heavily.

“Alright, you’re good to go,” Ben remarked. “Everything has healed properly.”

saul nodded and got up

Farah did as well. "Where would you like to go?" she asked innocently, knowing he couldn't respond how he wanted with Ben and Luna there.

"anywhere with you," he said back

She shook her head and pulled him out the door. "Come on."

he let her guide him, " enjoy your control now because you won't have it here soon."

Farah's heart began to race, and her grip on him tightened teasingly.

saul smirked, " your room this time love," he teased

"That's where I was going," she shot back.

he growled softly into her ear " be a brat and it'll be worse." he said

Farah's heart began to race. "Well, you've said that before, and…" She trailed off and shrugged indifferently.

saul shook his head
once they were in the room saul had her pinned in an instant " here or bed?" (pm?)

"Goodnight," Farah whispered back, falling asleep soon after.

saul wok in the morning to the sound of thunder "?"

Farah was still asleep.

saul pulled farah closer and sighed

Farah gasped and woke at his touch. "Saul?"

"sorry.. its storming… reminds me of that day.."

"What day?" she asked sleepily.

" the day Rosalind killed thousands.." he said and held her tightly as another bolt of lightning and thunder exploded

Farah was suddenly wide awake. She jolted in his arms. "It wasn't Rosalind," she whispered. "Stop pretending like it was. It was me, Saul. That magic was mine."

" no farah she used you, it wasn't just your magic."

Farah buried her face in his shoulder. "Dammit," she whispered.

" im sorry.."

"Don't be," she mumbled instantly. "It's alright."
