Luna shook her head. "Too many unnecessary factors. If Farah hadn't been so stupid as to leave the barrier with her guard down the Burned One wouldn't have snuck up on her. It was her own fault. She knows the dangers, probably better than any one of us."

"Dear gods, Saul, do you want to kill the Burned One or not?" Luna cried.
" let go then and stop saying stupid shit!"
Luna huffed. "I'm following you, you know. I have no idea where Farah was attacked."
" i know." he said and continued walking
Luna followed him, holding the sword limply in her arms. She planned on using her magic to blind the thing. Simple.
saul listened for the familiar growl, heading in its direction
Luna followed him, her eyes glowing pale yellow as she readied her magic.
saul came across the struggling impaled burned "ready luna?"
Luna lifted her chin in answer, and she shot a powerful blast of light magic into the Burned One's eyes, blinding it so it couldn't see Saul coming.
saul launched and buried his sword in its chest, watching it wither under his blade
Luna glared, her light fading so it didn't blind Saul.
saul drew his blade back once it died
Luna sighed and let her magic fade completely. "See?" she muttered. "Didn't need this."
" thanks" he said
Luna nodded shortly. "Of course."
"lets get back to farah.."
Luna sighed quietly and began the walk back.
saul walked with a quickened pace, ready to be back in his lovers arms
Luna followed him, practically jogging to keep up with him.
Farah was still in the greenhouse getting patched up by Ben. Her wounds were receeding.
"farah!" saul yelped out as he rushed into the greenhouse
"Saul!" Farah looked up at him, and she prepared to stand up, but Ben had a grip on her arm as if he could predict what she was going to do.
"Ah ah ah, not yet," he scolded.
The mind fairy frowned and huffed irritantly.
saul chuckled and wrapped his arms around her sitting form
Farah clung to him with her free arm. "Thank you," she whispered.
" you did the same for me.."
Farah laughed quietly. "Yes. I did." She guided his lips to hers.
saul kissed her lovingly, slowly pulling her closer
Farah inched closer, and Ben sighed.
"Farah, you have to stay still!" he insisted.
saul broke the kiss " what are you even doing?"
